Cinthia blew an annoyed breath and slid down the tree trunk, folding her arms over her chest like a child. "Did I forget to mention I died!? To save an entire empire? And then got exiled for not staying dead!?" At this point, Cinthia was just getting things off her chest. "And how about not being able to touch people because then I'd probably accidentally look into their mind and see their memories and future, and anything they know?"

Milly took a bite of the chocolate, "Ohmystarsitisssss!"

"Try watching your dimension explode as your parents are running to the portal you have open, then they stop and tell you to close it to save everyone already through, and you wait until the last second and see them swallowed by the blast. Then, you have to push aside your emotions to deal with everyone else. Then, you can never show emotion because it is a sign of weakness and has died many, many times just so other people's dimension's don't explode either." Hinata said calmly.
"Try being so powerful you have been forbidden to bare a child when it was the only thing you ever wanted?"

Cinthia had nothing to say about that, only, "I'm infertile, so I guess that last one doesn't really affect me."

"I'm 1'000 years old!" Milly piped up still eating her food

“I wish I was infertile. Then males would stop trying to rape me.” Tiak stared wistfully at Cinthia.

"Trust me, a day will come when you want to have kids. Unless you're the kind of species that die after giving birth or something." Hinata jabbed a fork into a Cheeto.

Cinthia shrugged. Moko settled into her lap and cooed comfortingly. "I guess that's one way to look at it."

A knock could be heard from Hinata's case.

“My mom used to tell me that when I was a Skarling, and then I grew up and didn’t change and she was like ‘Tiak, you’re one of the weird ones,’ and just gave up on having grand-Skarlings through me. I have two brothers though, so she’ll be fine.”

"Oh, trust me, I didn't want to have kids for a long time. I was, like, the equivalent of about…" She counted on her fingers, "20,000 of you lifespans old at the time." She popped open a can of Diet Coke.

Milly stared at the can suspiciously, "What is that?"

"It's pop. I don't know if your system can handle it, though…"

Tiak sniffed the can from across the table.
“Some sort of…nope, no idea what that is.”

"It's water with carbon bubbles and flavoring."

"That's weird…"

"It's made by humans, what do you expect?"

Cinthia watched the others silently, mentally exhausted and just tired all around.

Tiak nodded at that.
“Humans are idiots sometimes. They can’t even do magic.”

"Eh, some can. I have a human friend who can do magic. She's pretty good, too."

Tiak hesitated for a second.
“Well, humans where I come from.”
