"Oh, you're still going to get reamed out by me," she declared, then ducked her head and lifted his chin so they were eye to eye. "But I get what you're saying. We can't fight him–he knows our tricks too well–but you can. And I can't fault you for this. It wouldn't be fair to you, and it'd be hypocritical of me."
"I'm just tired of getting chased by psycho whores and gangs of wizard killers. The only way I can past that is facing him." His eyes looked determined.
Her eyes searched his, finding his determination and resolve within them. "I'll be with you every step of the way."
A small smile creeped on to his lips. "I love you," he said for the third time in the same hour.
She smiled. "I love you too." This time, she wasn't freaking out, and she finally got it through her thick and paranoid head that he truly meant it.
"So, uh…how much are you gonna yell at me when we get home?"
One side of her lip quirked up in amusement. "You'll find out soon enough." It didn't look like she had any plans of yelling at him, though. She respected his decision and was actually somewhat proud of him for facing his father. He was definitely braver than she was.
He rolled his eyes, sitting back up straight. "When do you want to leave?"
She tilted her head. "It doesn't look like dessert is coming anytime soon. I guess whenever you want to."
"We can just come back tomorrow night."
She shrugged. "If you want."
"I'm asking you, so no, it's what you want."
She smirked. "Now you know how I feel."
"No, no, no, no, I can't help it if I'm indecisive. You do it to annoy me."
Her smirk grew. "Maybe I do, maybe I don't." She took a look around the restaurant. "I think I'm all fancied out. I just want an ice cream cone."
He shrugged. "Maybe where's one on the way back home."
She tilted her head. "So, we're leaving?"
(This has to be my favorite video ever https://youtu.be/Vfbl-PgJIa0)
He shrugged. "Anything to get out of these fucking shoes."
She snickered. "I second that."
He stood up with a grunt, offering his hand.
She took it and stood as well. "Ugh, I can't wait to get out of this dress."
He guided her out of the door, wincing with every step. (Should we switch to Find Me or no?)
(Yeah, this rp for them seems to be wrapping up)
(I'll make a new one to not interrupt the story in 4. Jesus, we've damn near filled up 4 character chats)
