In a noble district, surrounded by quiet streets and fine shops, a fancy restaurant had nuzzled its way into existence. Inside, the floors were mosaic tiles intricately placed to form a large heart. To the left, 20 or so table-clothed tabled rested in rows of three, all with plates and silverware. To the front, a table with many voices of fine wines, sodas, and water were lined up, stacks of cups on each side. And finally, to the right, a dance floor was in place, a small stage covered in electrical equipment shoved in the far corner.
((Alright, everyone! DO you have characters who are shipped? Well, bring them here for a party and meet-and-greet! Every sexuality, species, whatever you want! Or maybe you're looking for a ship? We got that too!))
Sounds fun, I'll join tomorrow
Could these be characters shipped with each other? If so, @JigglyCheeks
Yes, of course! That's actually the situation with my character, imao
I don't know how you want Tess to join. After Runner maybe?
Yeah, I should probably make that starter, shouldn't I?

Great!
YO ACE! WE NEED TO GET OUR AWKWARD BOIS IN HERE!
((Alright, here we go!
Runner stood awkwardly near the door, messing with his tie nervously as he waited. For once, his hair was combed, parted to the right and stuck down with some Axe gel. He had shaved the puberty mustache, but somehow still looked younger than his 17 years of age. His suit was the classic black and white styling, a heavy black overcoat with a white button-up under it and a small handkerchief poking from the collar. His tie, the only think he chose from the entire thing, was a dark blue in color. His dress pants were freshly ironed, and his uncomfortable shoes were shining they were so clean. A nervous smile rested on his lips, though he had no clue why he was feeling so.
Tessa strolled in the restaurant, dressed to impress. The blueish-purple dress exposes her shoulders, the sheer sleeves tight against her skin as they ran down her arm and looped around her middle finger. The round neckline was surprisingly modest for her usual taste, but that was perhaps the only modest part about the dress. It had two layers to it. The bottom layer was a solid blue-ish purple silk that came down to mid-thigh, hugging her body and accentuating her curves. The top layer was sheer, just like the sleeves, and floated just above the floor on an invisible breeze. An embroidered pattern made up a simple belt within the dress, holding the two layers together at the waist. The sheer material sparkled slightly in the light whenever she moved. On her feet were tall blue stilettos, the narrow heels clicking against the floor. Around her neck was a single necklace of a dragon circling a golden stone. Large hoops dangled from her ears. Her golden hair was styled so that it was out of her face, braids wrapped atop her head in a crown and merged together to lay over the rest of her hair.
Runner's smile broadened as she walked in. "And she said she isn't one for formal parties." He was visibly relieved, but finally realized why. He honestly thought she wasn't going to show up. "You look….wow." His hazel eyes studied the dress in surprise. Tess was known to go all out, but this was an insanely new level. He took notice of the necklace Junia had made for her with a somewhat proud feeling, despite not making it. Finally, he took notice of the shoes. "Aw, not the ones I picked out?"
She turned to him, already smiling. "I would've if I could find them. I have about twenty pairs of heels stuffed in my closet." She walked up to him, easily keeping balance on the tall and narrow heels. "And I came because you asked me to. As long as I'm not being passed around like some prize, I'll be fine."
"Like I'm gonna let someone else touch you," he said, pulling her into a hug. "Did I dress everything right? I still wasn't quite sure how to tie the tie, so I did the best I could." Although sloppy, it was tied in the right manner. Overall, he looked much better than anyone who knew him would have expected.

Yo Moto Moto, is there magic in this neck of the woods?
She laughed, returning the hug. "You look great." And he did. She was impressed by how nicely he cleaned up tonight–even the tie–and he looked quite handsome in his suit. She gestured to herself with a little more flare than needed, but that was just how she was. "I wore blue, just like you requested."

(Yee man. You wanna go first or nah?)
"Yes, and you look ridiculously beautiful. Nothing new, but still worth noting." He looked around the restaurant. "The invitation said the host would be out at 9. It's only 8, so we have a bit of time."
Tessa flashed a grin at the compliment. "It's always nice to hear." then pouted at the news. "Aw, so that means an hour until I can eat?"
