(I guess you can?)
(I guess you can?)
Any blushed again, sitting down.
"Thanks for this, again."
(oh boi…)
"Yeah, no problem." Isak tapped his fingers impatiently on the table. Waiting for the coffee meant smalltalking, something that he - despite his popularity - was not good at.
(Lmao sorry)
Nellie had been heading down to the lobby. She had planned out everything that she was going to do. However, she had started writing in her journal in the elevator, and now she had been there for about 20 minutes, not paying any attention to the people who were entering and exiting the elevator.
"So…" Goddammit amy (the most wonderful woman in the world), why the hell can't. you make freaking small talk?! Ever?!
"So." Isak gave her half of a crooked smile. "What do you think of the barista?" He blurted out, completely regretting it as he said it. The hell, Isak, you can't just ask people what they think of the barista? Are you stupid?
amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) glanced over.
"Well, I guess he's cute. Kinda. Why..?" ohgodohgodohgod is this going where I think it might??
(I dunno, is it?)
Isak blushed. "Oh, nothing special. I just wondered."
(I have no idea where I am going with this…)

Myra just wanted to sleep. Claire had been going on about her new boyfriend for the past 40 minutes, something about rich and popular.
Just like the previous ones.
"Hey!" Myra unintentionally shouted, lowering her voice as she continued. "I thought we were going to do karaoke?"
Claire laughed before pulling something up on her phone.
"No, I just wanted to get you out of that stuffy hotel to eat at this place with good reviews," She said, passing the device to Myra.
"We could've taken a taxi," Myra said, her voice now lower in pitch with evident annoyance.
"Ah, I promise the food will be good!" Claire said, propping an elbow on Myra's shoulder.
"Why such tall heels if you knew we'd be walking?" Myra inquired, furrowing her brows.
"Uh," Claire started, but then shrugged. "We're almost there so it doesn't matter much anyways,"
Myra just rolled her eyes and smirked.
"Of course,"

Fynn wasn't really smart when it came to social interaction. So when he smiled at a girl passing by in a bathing suit, he felt some pain when she responded with the word 'creep'.
'Who the hell hurt her?" He thought, scoffing loudly.
His clothes had been changed, and he was headed down to the lobby, where he planned to sleep on a couch until somebody woke him up.
Sadly, the only free couch was tiny and he'd have to curl himself into a ball to even fit on it.
Fynn was up to a challenge, though
It took him exactly 18 minutes and 25 seconds to fall asleep.

(You ever been to a Joe and the Juice? Cause those fellas… damn. I mean, it is literally no joke part of their job description to be hot and flirt with customers)

Ah, no. I wish I could but I think the closest one to me still a good day away.
(Can I just - yeet my character in?)
Sure!
Isak tapped his fingers against the table again. Smalltalking was sooo not his thing. He looked over at amy (the most wonderful woman in the world). For once, she seemed calm. He wondered if that was a bad sign, that he was the only one to be nervous.
amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) might have appeared calm on the outside, but on the inside she felt like curling up in a ball and screaming into a pillow for a few hours.
"So…"
"So." Isak looked down at the table. What the heck am I gonna say?
amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) had her hands under the table; they were shaking uncontrollably.
"Well… what are your plans for this trip?"
Isak thought about it for a second. Did he have any plans for the trip? "Oh. I don't know, actually. Relaxing, I guess. I like to head out for a run early in the mornings, so I guess I'll do that. And then me and Virgil are gonna do some… stuff." He paused for a second. "How about you?"
(Lmaoo Idk what I'm doing here… that's ok.)
As Nellie's poem came to a close, she leaned against the elevator doors, suddenly realizing she was exhausted. She had just gotten comfortable when… ding! The elevator doors opened. Nellie tumbled out onto the ground. Dammit, not again.
A loud thud was heard as Myra let her head fall on to the table, surprising both Claire and surrounding parties.
"I'm never walking anywhere again for the rest of my life," She mumbled, standing up slightly to adjust the skirt of her dress before sitting down, back straight.
"Hon, your hair's a mess," Claire said, letting out a small sigh.
"Whatever, can we take a cab back?" Myra grumbled, crossing her arms defensively.
"'Course," Claire said and picked up her menu.
"Oh, wow." Myra said, looking at the back of Claire's menu.
There was a shit-ton of items listed, the majorite of them being sides. If Myra was being honest, walking was no longer the biggest problem she had.

A few minutes passed, and Myra finally knew what she wanted, the waitress obviously relieved when she stopped her drawn out 'uhm'.
"So, how's life been. Anything interesting?" Claire asked.
"Uh, I gave up on my dream of becoming a musician because my dog died. I also realized that love is just an illusion," Myra replied, leaning back in her chair.
"Who hurt you?" Claire asked, a look of worry on her face.
"My whole family. Apparently, in this day and age, I'm expected to have children when I'm older even though I'm already dysfunctional enough," Myra replied, making weird hand gestures to go with her words.
"Oh," Claire said, a bit at a loss for words.
"Yup," Myra said, proceeding to take a long sip of water. "I just never change,"
"Me? Probably what I always ends up doing: watching from the sidelines, the view slightly obscured by my notebook." She sighed.
Isak looked at her. "You should join us some time. Me and my friends, I mean. I could even try to set you up with one of us." He said 'us', not 'them'. He wasn't really sure why he had said that, but he didn't regret it. amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) actually seemed really cool. "They are not as bad once you get to know them."
"I- um-" she was freaking out on the inside.
"Ah- thanks, Isak. It might be good for me to actually do something."
"I think it would." Isak smiled at her. The pretty barista called his name and he went to get their coffees. He then walked back to amy (the most wonderful woman in the world). "You wanna take a walk by the water or something? The weather is really nice, it would be a shame to spend it indoors." He gave her her coffee.
"That sounds… nice, actually." amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) held her coffee, a hint of a smile on her face.
Isak smiled back at her. "Let's go, then." He walked out the door, holding it for her. The weather was really nice. And the water… for some reason, he loved the sea. A thought came to his mind. What if they all went bathing by the beach tonight? Him, the boys and maybe even amy (the most wonderful woman in the world)? He could ask if Virgil wanted to come too, and maybe Fynn and that boy who had defended amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) earlier could come?
