Isak was in a really good mood. Parties made him feel that way. "You!" He yelled to a ginger girl that happened to be walking past him in the stairs. "Party at the beach tonight! Be there or be square!" He continued walking up the stairs, whistling and not bothering to wait for an answer.
Nellie covered her ears, startled by the sudden noise. "Gods, do you have to yell? And I don't exactly party! Parties are for people with friends!" She yelled, watching the boy get further away.
(Nellie, if someone like Lloyd is going, you gotta go too lol)
(You know MJ from Spiderman (the newer one)? Nellie's like her. She'll probably go, for no other reason than being bored.)
Fynn groaned as he sat up on the cramped couch, his lobby nap finally over. Looking around, he noticed a few people snickering at him. Lazily, he finger combed what hair he could before heading to the bar for a soda, digging around his pockets for any money he could tip the waiter/waitress with.
If there was one thing he knew, it was that not tipping was considered rude.
(When it comes to me partying, Lloyd is such a mood.)
Heading down to the lobby again to go get some pizza, Isak saw Fynn at a couch. "Hey, Fynn!"
Nellie sighed. I guess I'm going to a party tonight. She continued up the stairs quickly, rolling her eyes every so often as she imagined possible scenarios that could happen. She figured, though, that she would probably just stand by the beach and creep everyone out. That was usually what she did.
Fynn just stared at Isak for a minute, his brain not registering a response.
"Err-OH!" Fynn sat up straight, feeling a bit dumb. "Whaddya want?"
Isak jogged over to him. "There's a party down by the beach tonight. Do you, um, do you wanna come? I'll be there and I told amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) to invite anyone she wanted. She'll be coming too, of course. And some of my friends." He realized that he was just blabbering, so he stopped.
"Sure!" Fynn said, giving a small smile. "I could use the socializing,"
"Excellent. Look, I'm going over to the supermarket to get us some pizza and something to drink, maybe some marshmallows too. You wanna join? Or we could just meet at the beach later. That works too." He looked down and then up again, slightly nervous.
"I'll come with you, if it isn't too much trouble. I'm used to going on shopping trips," He replied. "There isn't really much to do at this time of day anyways,"
"What? Oh, okay." Isak had not expected him to actually want to join. His heart skipped a beat as they walked out the lobby. Keep calm, Isak, he thought. He only sees you as a friend if even that cause he's not bi okay? Just go get those damn pizzas.
Fynn didn't really know what kind of conversation to start so the walk wasn't awkward, and went with the first thing he thought of.
"Do you prefer puppies or bunnies?" He said loudly, voice cracking in the middle as his face flushed pink with embarrassment.
What kind of question was that? This is why you don't have friends, I sound like a seven year old girl!
He really needed to stop hanging out with his little sister so much.
Isak laughed and looked at him in surprise. "Well… I gotta say puppies on that one. They're a bit more social." He smiled. "My friend once hade a bunny and when I was petting it it sneezed all over me. So… yeah. Not a very good experience."
"Ah. Bunnies are too fragile for me, if I remember correctly they can easily die of fright or stress," Fynn said, looking down in thought. "Canines are easier to care for anyways,"
Fynn wrinkled his nose upon finishing his sentence, noticing he'd almost stepped in some gum (clearly old and gross).
(Can I join or am i too late?)
(Oof this gets a bit confusing for me lol… I'm Swedish, and in Sweden the word for bunny is Kanin, pretty similar to Canine… it's pronounced almost the same)
(W h e e z e the more you know ☆)
(Can I join or am i too late?)
You can join at any point!
"Do you have one?" Isak looked at him. "A canine, I mean."
"Yeah," Fynn said, a smile on his face. "He's this huuuuuge Great Dane named Rico, we got him about three years ago. He looks kinda like Scooby Doo, but sadly, he can't talk. Also, Rico's pretty smart, he knows all sorts of tricks and-"
Fynn paused for a second.
"Sorry, I'm rambling on." He laughed, propping his hands on his sides. "What was the store called again?"
"I'm not sure," Isak answered him. "I just saw it when amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) and I were getting coffee at Starbucks earlier. It should be here somewhere… ah, over there."
"Ah, good." Fynn said, a sly grin on his face as he thought of something. "Soooo . . . is this amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) I hear of cute?"
