”But that’s the thing,” Felix sobbed. ”You love me and I know this will never work cause they said that it wouldn’t and I always ruin everything… This happens every time! I try to get close to someone and I just mess things up…” The panic was slowly fading away, but he still had the shock afterwards to deal with.
(Well hello, Stalker…)
(Just popped in to say I love this story and you guys are awesome.)
"They're wrong. You know that? You're okay. You're not messing anything up. If anything, I'll mess it up. Okay?" He pressed a light kiss to his lips. "I love you and you have to know that. You're not going to mess anything up. I love you."
(Aw thanks!)
”Stop saying that,” Felix wispered. ”Cause I love you too, and there is nothing I can do about it.”
Zach grinned and kissed him again, arms still carefully wrapped around him. "Good. You don't have to do anything about it. It's fine just the way it is."
(And with that heartbreaking cliffhanger I have to go offline to sleep… sadly humans need to sleep and I kinda wish I was a vampire now… Peace out, people!)
(alright, byeee!!)
Felix took a deep breath and tried his very best to calm down. After a minute or so he had gotten the control back of his shaking body, and the tears didn’t fall anymore. Zach’s warmth next to him made him not freeze as much, and he tried to get up from the floor. He stood up, and leaned against the sink. ”It isn’t, really,” he mumbled. ”But thanks, anyways.”
“You’re welcome. I just want to help you.” Zach stood up with him and wrapped his arms around Felix’s waist, giving him support.
”Can we… can we just get going? I’m so sorry, but I can’t talk about this right now. I just wanna get on the road and get as far away from everything as possible.” Felix looked up at Zach for the first time since Zach’s confession.
"No, no, of course. We probably should anyway. You have nothing to be sorry for." Zach smiled gently at him and opened the bathroom door.
”Thanks.” Felix walked out, still shaking a tiny bit from the cold. ”Oh my god.” He took a deep breath, exhausted. ”Okay.” Exhaled. ”Let’s do this.” Come on. You can do this. It’s not that hard.
"Yeah. You're okay." Zach reassured, taking his hand and slipping the card in his pocket to keep it safe. He got the donunts and keys into a little pile, then turned to Felix. "I'm assuming everything else is in your car?"
Felix only nodded. He could literally feel exavtly how pale he was right now, and his entire face was shiny from sweat. He still felt cold, and he grabbed his backpack and threw it up onto his shoulder. He held Zach’s hand in a tight grip and felt like a little child.
"Alright." Zach opened the door, guiding Felix out and down the stairs. "You can tell me to stop if you want, you know." He told him, glancing back at Felix.
Felix shook his head. ”No, no, it’s fine. I can deal with it. The worst part is over, I’m just a little shook.”
(all I can think of is sh00k)
"Okay. Okay, it's fine." Zach calmly returned Felix's key and opened the door, looking around for Felix's car.
”It’s over there.” Felix started walking towards a big, forest green jeep. He unlocked the car and climbed into the drivers seat. He gave Zach a weak smile. ”This is my beauty.” He stroke the steering wheel. Felix loved his car. He loved the freedom of having it; it meant he could go anywhere he wanted. That he didn’t have to stay in that awful house that he had once called his home.
Zach grinned back. "I love it. Seems like a real trooper." He then tilted his head. "Do you want me to ride with you or not? I can just, you know, turn and run if you want me to."
”Stay. Please.” Felix really didn’t want to be alone right now.
"Thanks." Zach smiled in relief, climbing inside and closing the passenger door behind him. "I really didn't want to have to run that far. Plus, I mean, come on. I get the chance to drive in a really cool car with you." He shrugged.
”Make yourself at home,” Felix mumbled while doing his best to ignore Zach’s comment. He really, really wanted to make this work, but he couldn’t see how.
