“You done?” Zach gave him a lopsided smile and tilted his head, inching forward.
“You done?” Zach gave him a lopsided smile and tilted his head, inching forward.
”I could be.” Felix lowered the camera, smirking.
“Could be, huh.” Zach repeated, kissing his cheek. “I’m glad you find me attractive.”
”Likewise. Cause, I mean, I have a terrible personality,” he joked, ”so it has got to be my looks that you like.”
"Aw, that's not true. I like it all." He murmured, wrapping his arm around Felix's chest from behind him.
Felix laughed. ”Oh, but you don’t know me. Maybe there’s a side of me that you hate.” He said it as a joke, but he also thought about how true it was. Cause he had only known Zach for a couple of days. They didn’t know each other, not really. Zach didn’t even know his secret. How could they have a relationship if he didn’t even know that? Felix really, really wanted this, but… he wasn’t sure if it could work.
"We'll see about that." Zach kissed the top of his head gently. "Like I said yesterday - tell me later." Zach wasn't stupid. He knew Felix was hiding something - he'd known since yesterday, when Felix was acting weird at the subject. But he wasn't about to force him to spill either. It wasn't like Zach would've told him he was a werewolf if he hadn't changed, either.
Felix was quiet for a while, thinking. ”Zach?”
"Yes?" He responded, resting his head on Felix's shoulder.
Felix turned around as much as he could, so that he could look at Zach. ”What are we going to do now?” He asked in a small voice. ”We are both on the run. We can’t go back home, and the money wont last forever. I don’t know how long it will be until my dad freezes the account. When that happens we have nothing. We can’t just move from hotel to hotel, they are probably looking for us.” His voices sounded more worried than he wanted it to. ”I don’t wanna go back,” he wispered. ”I don’t wanna marry that guy.”
Zach was silent for a moment.
"Neither do I. I don't want to marry my person, either. And for me…" He sighed. "I don't need to stop at hotels or go to gas stations or any of that. I'm a werewolf. But you…" He kissed the top of Felix's head again. "You do all of that. It would probably hurt you if I took you into the forest with me."
Felix realised something. ”I am slowing you down. God, you could be miles away from here by now if it wasn’t for me! I’m so sorry, I shouldn’t have made you stay… what if they find you, and it’s because of me?” He felt really bad about it. But at the same time… he didn’t want Zach to leave either.
Zach snorted a little, not a mean one but a surprised one. "Slowing me down? Now what gave you that thought? You have a car, for god's sake. You can travel much faster than any werewolf, don't kid yourself. I'm here for you." He admitted.
”Yeah, but… I made you stay at the hotel. You wouldn’t have needed to do that if you just kept running as a werewolf. But… I don’t really want you to leave,” he said, looking down.
"No, no, you're fine. I stayed of my own free will." Zach placed a kiss on his cheek. "I don't want you to leave, nor do I want to leave, so we're good." He put another one on Felix's neck softly. "We'll be fine. I'm a werewolf, remember? We'll be fine." He didn't say 'I'll be fine' or 'You'll be fine'. He said 'We'll be fine'.
Felix blinked a lcouple of times too many and swallowed down a lump in his throath. How is it even possible that this perfect thing is mine? He smiled weakly. ”Thank you. But we still have no plan for what to do. If we are going to stick together we’ll have to do things the human way, and that includes having money and somewhere to live.” The cold air didn’t bother Felix when next to Zach. He stood close to him and leaned his head against Zach’s chest. Zach might not need all those things to survive, but he did.
"Alright. Well, first things first. You should probably just take all the money out of your dad's account now before he freezes it. We can talk about the other things later." Zach mumbled into Felix's shoulder. "We can go to the closest ATM and do that now."
Felix sighed, tired. ”I don’t wanna do that,” he complained. ”I wanna stay with you in this hotel forever and never go back and just cuddle all the time and eat pizza and watch tv and stay in bed for as long as we want to and… donuts. I want donuts.”
"We can get donuts. I can get you donuts. I can do the other thing too, with the ATM. You can just stay here." Zach offered, lifting his head from Felix's shoulder.
Felix smiled gratefully at him. ”Thank you. You are the best, you know that, right?”
"Not until now." Felix grinned, still not letting go of Felix. "What's the account code, by the way? I'm gonna need it."
Felix went over to the desk and wrote it down on a piece of paper. ”If you try to steal all my money, I will hunt you down and kill you,” he joked as he handed the note to Zach.
Zach giggled softly. "You know I'll be giving it all back to you. I just don't want your dad to freeze the account with stuff still inside. And -" He smiled as he took the paper- "I'll get us donuts too."
”Yay.” Felix hugged him. ”What would I do without you? And donuts. I have no idea what I would do without donuts.”
Zach giggled and hugged him back with a happy sigh before pulling away gently. "See you in a couple minutes, then."
