Thanks! I'm really new to the art but I've watched a few tutorials and used the colours I'm used to, lol.

its taken me over four hours to draw my characters neck up XD
I feel you. When I do more detailed stuff that happens, the one I did took about an hour and a half.
yeah
one of my characters looked (and still kinda does) exactly like lance from voltron, so I had to change his color scheme lol
My teacher caught me sketching in class and he was like, "Normally I'd be upset, but you're much better than the rest of these guys, so I'll let it pass. Just get back to work please." and I internally freaked but also was flattered. It was funny tho.
lmao
How does one stick to a single drawing idea? I haven't finished a digital thing since… I honestly don't remember
I tried to color that sketch of Rose but it looked weird and I don't want to spend 12+ hours on something I know I won't be happy with.
Oof. Same, I can't seem to stick to an idea often. I'm just trying to stick to one project at a time so I actually work on it. ._.
Also I don't color my stuff often.

I just don't start anything else until I've finished a project. Sure, I'll do some quick sketches now and again, but I generally keep working on something unless I decide I don't like it anymore and want to get rid of it.
I never finish drawings. If you went through my sketchbook you'd think I died every time I started a new drawing.
I'm finally trying to stick to a project because I really want to learn animation. Would any of you like to see a rough draft GIF of it?
oooh sure!
Ooooh, noice!!! I've been wanting to learn how to animate and I have all these beautiful ideas in my head but I'm not skilled enough for them so I just have to sadly animate a ball bouncing across the screen for the 800th time
I'm sure you're plenty skilled! If you don't already have them I recommend asking for The Animators Survivors Kit or The Illusion of Life. Even the Disney's Nine Old Men collection has stuff from some of the greats! If you can't get them as a gift, bookstores always have a copy of the survival kit and you can probably find them in libraries. Oh, and you can find the video series of The Animators Survival Kit on YouTube.
(I'm just going to move this chat to the new "art" section…)
Woah. I was gone for an hour and suddenly everything is updated.
It was just updated about 15 minutes ago… I love it so far
(it loves you too)
(andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) the update is incredible thank you so much)
(it really is)
I'm confused why are those grey…? Is it cause they are in parenthesis…? I am so confused.
(it's a new update, messages like this will be greyed out slightly. It's supposed to make it easier in the roleplay forums or something)
