I drew a Riley (OC) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GJ-7f0s5kW5zj-1AeODC6tYBCiZ8EnkI/view?usp=drivesdk she has had the same design since I started making others, and it’s been like this for what, 2 years? So I decided to slightly tweak her design, it’s still pretty similar but different enough. The scar looking thing is paint, it’s a tribal thing.

Sorry for replying late, and thanks for the advice! I finished most of the colours at like, three in the morning, so that could explain why it turned out subpar since I was mostly just going with the flow. And I like the colour blue, lol, and I'll use it a lot sorry.

Oh that’s not what’s the problem, blue is a great color for characters, I use blue for basically all my characters, if they don’t have blue they have green or red. Just when your drawing try not to have colors so saturated, if your eyes keep hurting from looking at the colors, or even just stick to that spot then try decreasing the saturation until it’s better, that’s my tip! When I color I try not to have things so saturated, sometimes I gray them so much because it’s what I’m used to it.

I think it’s his neck… the size of one arm (shoulder to elbow, elbow to hand) is the head, so if your head is too small, then the neck won’t be either. From its view the neck wouldn’t be that stiff… it looks like a 3/4 view, how I try and fiz stuff is I turn my head over to the position and feel where the the neck is connected. The doodle you have has a small head, I just noticed it lol. Uh, if it’s a 3/4 view then yes the neck drawn from the head on the right (the line itself) is correct, but the left one can go a little bit to the right, just a small bit so it doesn’t look like a small doll head was glued onto a thick Boi’s neck. I recommend either fixing up the neck or just making the head a bit bigger.

The legs look very weird… that’s all I got.

The proportions are a little… weird, to say the least, but with a few references, It can look great! Nice job.

Thank you for that, I literally avoid drawing ears like a disease. Can I have some tips on muscles? I wanted to draw Chrom from Fire Emblem buttttt I cant. I can’t draw muscles at all, so can I have some tips?

I'm telling you, this guy is great. He even goes over ways you can simplify/stylize the different details so you're not limited to realism. His entire Anatomy Quick Tips series is one of the most helpful things I've ever come across, 10/10, would recommend.
