It looks great and Im sure you will get better with time and practice until you are at the point of feeling confident about your art! I mean, of course you can improve a lot from that but it doesn´t mean it´s bad and you got a lot of things going on that are on your side, like seriously, you dont have the same face syndrome so that´s definitely a win (hope this doesn´t sounds crontadictory to what I said…)
And the last ones look amazing, love the puppy and the second one is really creative!

Forgot to add the name before written the last ones… sorry (my brain still tired after 8 and a half hours of school) I had to write @Knight-Shives after that…

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

I drew a thing I'm proud of!!!

It was closely referenced from some stranger's selfie (one of the first results when I googled "girl in a hoodie") so I wouldn't consider it 100% mine, more like… 75% because I still technically drew it, but yeah. Thing!

Man, people draw from photos and things in real life all the time, it doesn't make it any less yours. (It's amazing, by the way! Good job!!)

You didn't "technically" draw it, you did draw it. No one should ever feel bad about using a reference. Even professional artists use references.

I an analogy once about how no one would ever expect a chef to cook the perfect dish without a recipe. It's the same thing with drawing; most people aren't going to be able to make a perfect drawing without a reference of some kind. It's a great way to learn.

Never be ashame of using references or drawing stuff from real life, as already said by many people before, even professionals use references, you drew something and it looks amazing and you´r learning because REFERENCES ARE MAGICAL
