There are quite a few really talented artists around here, it's very inspiring to see everyone's art (especially all of you who are really good at anatomy)
Anatomy is one of my weaknesses. My style is sort of semi-realistic leaning towards cartoony but my logical brain wants to make it realistic so then it just turns into a mess of me spending hours sketching the pose and fighting between stylising and making it immaculate. bloody left brains
anyway I was going to share a work in progress I've been doing for someone
…i'm pretty sure the character is meant to be skinnier but most of my own characters are muscular warriors so i'm out of practice
It looks really good! I totally understand the struggle of realism-versus stylization lol, it's really difficult to choose between them sometimes ^^; But I personally think this drawing shows a good balance, the pose is great and the anatomy seems quite believable to me :) Keep it up!
Anatomy is 9/10 in terms of proportion I think. You have done well.
Wow I really love this!
Just a quick note: her extended leg is a weeeeeeee too long. Just a wee. I would maybe reduce it by a couple centimeters. You don't want it to be the same length as her sword. :)
Otherwise its fantastic!
I'm glad! I'll see what I can do about that once I start refining it a bit

This is really well done, good job on this one! And she looks alright for me, her proportions are really great, I also love the details on the hair and face. Your anatomy is really good as well, although the chin looks very pointy, I do it to but it might just be your style.
That looks great! I love how fluid the posing is
So this is my attempt at a no line colored character, it’s not done, so give some tips. I’m really proud of it, it looks really good for my third time coloring with this app seriously. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ud0y1BxZQna_Lw1ibtlT3mGsbAgrrXjS/view?usp=drivesdk
It looks so good! Everything is so crisp and clean looking
Looks great! I like the way you colored her hair, it's very vibrant ^^ If I had to suggest anything, I'd say you might have forgotten her eyebrows, but otherwise I really like it XD
It's been said before, but the way you coloured the hair is excellent! Generally you have a good handle on lighting and shadows and stuff!
Here's a doodle I made in class today. What do you guys think?
Could I give a small critique?
Ok so the angle of the face
Is like
Weird
In that angle which you show quite well, both eyes cannot be seen like that. And the eye would not be popping out to meet the extraordinarily large hair.
Okay, I can work with this!
And the neck's a little…strange? I like the hair, though.
Her nose has to be more push and cover
Be confident with your noses
I have, like, zero confidence in my noses.
To be honest, I spent most of my time on the neck, and it's like I can't draw them today. I usually draw them the best XD.
Oh yeah
Well necks are pretty simple you just have to make sure the chin and jaw are aligned right with the rest of the face, then you point to the chin and go
NECK
and find where the ear is and go
NECK
(That makes no sense but idk)
and yeah
And also your collarbones are so intense
Also I use my own body for my necks
Seriously using human body when drawing bodies 100% do recommend
