(At this point it’s less “ogs only” and more “tolerable people only”, the tolerable people just happen to be mostly the ogs)
(Just a thought. there kinda needs to be a cut off point, or it just becomes about saying no to specific people because they're too annoying… which is a tad mean, know what I mean?)
(Or, if you go with tolerable… I guess that's just straight up on their ability to not be annoying. Obviously I'm not judging your ability to judge, just… asking questions, as usual ;)
(We already have some people who aren’t ogs but we all can agree are pretty chill and don’t cause problems, and for any other people past who we have right now we have a PM to decide whether they join or not)

(The pm is a good idea. there may also be something to be said for just moving the whole chat to a pm if yuo intend to keep it largely closed. That would streamline the process)
(also, some of us stalk to keep an eye on things and try to keep what happened yesterday from happening again. I'm nothing but a benevolent lurker. Also in with those stalkers are Serpentess and Andrew, both of whom can be trusted shrug your call of course. Just a thought)
(True, thanks for the ideas. But for now I think we’ll keep it like this- a lot of changes all at once and we’re just trying to avoid the whole situation from blowing up again. That being said, we don’t want this chat to be closed to all outsiders either. With all of us together I’m sure we can figure out something good.)
(Also, having a pm instead would just be a little irritating, at least for me- a large chat like this us just more tolerable in a forum imo)

Though, we have much to consider on how we go about the “closed” status. The definition we have for this chat right now does seem to have exceptions for people joining despite that, so maybe it would be an invitation situation. The chicken court has much to consider.
