Background-
Humanity has been exploring space for years, and still while plenty of alien species have been found, still none of which they considered ‘intelligent life’. Space travel has been around so long that the common man can launch a space-traveling business with nothing but the right connections and amount in his pockets. Because of the ease of access to space travel, constellations have become an important part of society, so much so a tradition was created leading to each person's moral compass based on their individual interpretation of the constellations out on the night of their 12th birthday, one chosen to be tattooed very small under their left eye.
Far away, on the planet Dulara, the inhabitants, a race known as Hylisei had no idea the designs they made on whims and sent into the inky blackness held such significance.
Plot:
Character A was very low on funds. It was a sketchy company at best, but they had just moved to this town, and a job was a job. They were sent up alone, already something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place, let alone the dingy and barely safe condition of the ship. Upon attempting to land on the planet Dulara, their ship began burning up on entry, landing in a pond and rendering them unconscious. When they awoke, they were being looked at strangely by an almost human-looking leaning far too close to them. They introduced themselves as B.

Description: Short and sweet, her hair is purple, her skin markings making it look like she is always smiling.. a rather creepy smile. Fairly humanoid, with long ears and a floating crescent symbol above her, she has a prosthetic leg (due to a childhood accident) that she made herself.

If Al wakes up to see Allyanna, you should probably start.
It was all still black. The sounds of.. movement, maybe, began to gradually clear from muffled hums, though the ringing in her ears was loud and intense. Louder.. louder.. louder… Al's eyes shot open and she nearly jumped off of whatever surface she was lying on at the sight of a girl with purple hair leaning over her with piercing hazel eyes and.. what might have been the most unnerving smile she'd ever seen, though Al couldn't be sure in the moment. She began to panic, but as she tried in vain to get up she nearly screamed as she laid back down.. everything hurt. What had happened to her?
Allyanna was watching the strange human her hazel eyes opened. Allyanna startled, jumping back slightly, some monitoring equipment moving back with her. "Oh my bird! I wasn't expecting… Is the translator working? Can you understand me? Aaarrrreeee yoooouuuu aaaaaalllriiiightt?" She drew out the last words, enunciating them and motioning with her hands.
She took a few deep breaths and nodded. "I can understand ya just fine" she all but snapped. "Just wasn't expectin to see a mug like that today.." she murmured. She spoke with an accent, one any earth-dwelling human could place in Boston, and was pretty certain the lady didn't know what she meant by that anyway. "What happened?"
Allyanna shrugged. "I found you! And you were unconscious. And I brought you here to make sure you weren't dead. And you weren't! Lucky you! And now you are conscious again. What… Are you?"
"I could ask you the same thing.." she mused. " I'm human"
Allyanna smiled for the first time, excited at the interaction. The expression helped show her facial markings as just that- a birthmark, making it seem like she was always smiling. Allyanna never liked the mark, the species she made contact with often found it unnerving.
"I am a Nefili!"
The work came through the translator twice. Once as 'Nefili', the pronunciation of the species, and once and 'floating', the translation of the word.
"You can call me Allyanna, the closest to my name most species can pronounce."
She gave a small smile, relieved that the unnerving smile was a birthmark. That was her only issue. She could deal with weird alien curiosity, but the initial thought of that being her smile was a bit horrifying. "Cool. Call me Al" she replied.
Allyanna smiled again. "It is pleasant to meet you, Al." She said, bringing her floating instruments closer.
"I do not know what is normal for you, but your vital signs are steady. Even if they are not the correct levels, that is a good sign."
She glanced over, reading her own vitals. "They're low for a human, but that's normal for me" she noted. "Can I take these out?" she asked, her fingertips grazing her IV, or what she assumed to be an IV
Allyanna nodded. "Preliminary tests showed that you required water and sodium to live, and sense I wasn't sure how long you'd be out… You can take them out! What were you doing before I found you?"
She nodded, ripping her IVs out with impressively little self-preservation to pain or care in doing so. "We do…We also need potassium and calcium" she confirmed, referring to humans in general. "I just generally don't intake enough" She rubbed her arm a little as she gingerly sat up, wincing a bit. As she took a mental scan of how her body we feeling, she answered "Crashing, I assume.."
Allyanna, checking the monitors, frowned. "You should lay back down. I'll stop the bleeding you caused by taking the IV's out, then I'll get you some food and water, okay? I only have a little data on human metabolism, but I do have a little bit of food from terrain planets, which seem to be where you would have come from."
Allyanna said, gently pushing All back down and dressing the IV spots with an ointment and bandaging them.
Al was resistant, but not so much to struggle. She lay back down with a discontented huff and let Allyanna do her thing. "I'll be fine.. I think I got food on the ship." She murmured. Allyanna had found her feet away from the charred ruins off.. something? Presumably her ship
Allyanna furrowed her brow. "A ship? Oh, is that what that was? I doubt anything survived that…"
Allyanna turned one of the screens to show Al. "See? I took a capture in case it could help me treat you. Whatever that was, it is gone now."
