All Realm
A large mysterious space anomoly orbited clock-wise in rotation like moons by four planets connected by 'gates'.
Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Please-me genre
A large powerful space anomaly headed by what is now known as 'The All' was capable of creating four distinct planets to power and grow. Each of these were important to the growth of the other, in 'The All''s eyes. They created the planets to orbit around his home, the Celestial World.
Closest in proximity to them, was their first planet, the Gifted planet. They made it a reasonable size, with a temperate climate, speckled with mountains, rivers and other bodies of water. Here, they created a large amount of magical people; Fairies, mers, dragons, other mythicals, giving few the ability to use white magic. At one end of the world 'The All' created a gate, with no walls on either side, and turned to their right.
There, they formed his largest planet, the carnal planet. Here 'The All' created any biome they could think to suit it's residents; this world was full of resources and life. 'The All' made small creatures, large creatures; rodents, reptiles, avians, mammals, fish. They made them all. They then blended the humanoids of this planet with selective animal traits, and ensured they could not mix, to keep the population from growing quickly. They then made a gate at the end of the world facing the Gifted planet, and a gate opposite that, turning again, to their right.
Slightly farther away than the previous two planets, 'The All" added the Colossal Planet. It was packed hard with ore, the terrain was quite rough, and the resources replenished quickly, as 'The All' made them to consume ore. They needed residents to protect this planet, mighty beings. They pieced together a group of distinct monster-like creatures, with no set number of body parts or origin thereof, and gave few the ability to use black magic. Repeating their previous process of adding two gates, they turned one last time to make the last planet.
New World began as a ball of sand in the void. Water and some flora would be the only exception. 'The All made this planet closer to the Colossal planet, but not by much, and the same distance from themself. But here, the all thought up some of the smartest humanoids in this system. Sapien-esque people few in numbers to begin the creation of the New World, and all the planets surrounding it..
These four planets do not rotate, instead, they orbit around the Celestial World, each obtaining their own small, orbiting star. Each planet has a time difference of a quarter day between each gate; therefore when it is daybreak at one point in the Gifted world, it is midday in the Carnal, sunset in the Colossal, and Mid-night in the New world in the same place.(Same place referring to the star path, as the stars on these planets follow the same orbit and make the same day/night progression.)
The gates on each planed can go to the closest planet they are connected to. These gates can also go to the Celestial World, but only representatives and those too weak to travel the gates will find themselves there. Yes, this does mean that you must travel half of a planet to get farther than one planet away. Good thing there's only four!
Rated in order from top in tech to bottom:
New World: Was made to create and build. Their technology is unmatched by the other worlds, though when the council finds an advancement necessary to share, they do. Prohibited technology trading has made trafficking the gates of this planet difficult.
Colossal Planet: Has a close bond with New World. Because of this and the fact they are constantly at war, the New world supports them heavily with weapons and other tech.
Gifted Planet: They were hesitant to accept technology as their studies were solely to practice magic, though were enthused and seriously utilise the abilities of magic technology. Nearly as advanced as Colossal.
Carnal World: Least advanced. They have the same quality and up-to-date necessities such as housing, farming, communication, and transportation, but efforts to bring more advanced ideas and the ability to continue with current technology is lacking.
All of the planets have a similar atmosphere to Earth, as well as gravitational pull;
Gifted planet has slightly more gravity as it is closest to the anomaly.
Colossal and New World's outer thirds experience less weight for the opposite reason.
Certain Residents in the Gifted world may use White magic, While certain Residents in the Colossal planet may use Black.
"The All" places emphasis on the fact that neither of these forces are good or evil. The difference between the two is the properties of the magic, black usually being more difficult.
No other planet's inhabitants can be born with magic.
Colossal may only use Black to Grey.
Gifted may only use White to Grey.
Examples of
Black Magic: Necromancy, Blood, Demonic, Chaotic, Tech, Shaman, Voodo, Anti
White Magic: Elemental, Druidic, White, Spirit, Dragon, Nature, Conjuration,
Grey Magic: Sex, Alchemy, Astrology, Illusion, Enchantment
Etcetera. Seems like random placement, but is based on what would make sense to use in each planet's resource situations.
