Thorngate

Thorngate sits on the largest island of Asnuale. Always having been quite insular, they became even more so after The Collapse. The event did not breach their walls, and they saw the carnage that happened all around them. Many refugees from elsewhere in the island made their way to the city but were told quite clearly that once they passed into the city's gates they would not be allowed to leave. Some took that gamble in hopes for a better life, others turned away and headed elsewhere.

Now no one is allowed in, and intruders are only given one warning before being killed if they try to enter.
