Backstory - Richard

Richard was born to a middle-class family. He followed his father's trade of becoming a Carpenter, and became very good at it. When The Great War began between Billedonia and Luxaria, he joined the army, working his way up to General. While he was fighting, he suffered a near-death injury and earned a medal from the king. This also caught the eye of the young Princess Olivia Jade Whitaker Alvarado, and they married a year later. Once he became king, he directed the military from the palace. While he was active in the military, he became friends with Mark Davenport, and the friendship continued once Richard became king. His parents were Esmeralda and Nicholas.
