Avian

The Avian people are very prideful and they can be arrogant. They occasionally make loyal friends to those outside of their race but they typically stick with their own kind.

Avians have wonderfully beautiful voices and they make excellent bards. Many of the most revered bards in history have been of the Avian race.

Slight of frame and delicately boned.

They can be a multitude of colors and patterns. The colors can be opaque, iridescent, translucent, and solid or a combinations.

Avians have wings sprouting from their backs, separate from their arms, giving them the ability for natural flight with the advantage of having their hands free.

Their colors and patterns typically follow family lines but the possibilities are unlimited with each Avian being unique.

Their delicate bone structure makes them not as physically robust as other races.

They are skittish and frighten easily. When startled their natural reaction is to take flight.

Bards are by far the most common. Rogues, rangers and mages are also quite popular. You'll also find an occasional priest, necromancer, or warlock.

The Avians race as a whole tend to think of themselves as better than the landbound races. This is not to say they are rude but they have an air of arrogance about them.
