Revitalization
Revitalization is a rare ritual spell that permanently resets the caster’s body to the start of adulthood, restoring youth and vitality by channeling stored life force through a gemstone. Transmutation channels the life energy into the caster, while conjuration absorbs ambient energy into the gemstone, which must have absorbed natural energy over decades.

Permanent
Permanent Age Reversal: The caster’s age resets to the threshold of adulthood for their species (e.g., age 10 for Drakar), with a rejuvenated appearance and the endurance of youth.
• Restored Vitality: Physically rejuvenates the caster, enhancing their Constitution and restoring youthful resilience.
Wisdom (or Constitution) saving throw, DC 20
• On Success: The caster successfully resets their age.
• On Failure: The caster ages by 2d10 years instead, and the gemstone shatters, losing its energy.
The spell level can be reduced by 1 level for every additional 10 years the gemstone has absorbed life energy, to a minimum casting level of 6th.

- Visuals: During the ritual, the gemstone pulses with vibrant green energy, releasing tendrils of light that absorb life force from the environment and flow into the caster. As they’re rejuvenated, their skin or exoskeleton regains youthful vitality, while nearby vegetation may wilt or lose color.
The environment around the caster experiences a visible depletion of life energy, with nearby plants appearing to wither, requiring years to naturally recover. If the spell fails, the caster appears visibly aged, and the gemstone shatters without effect.
A rare gemstone worth at least 500 gp, placed in a natural setting to absorb life energy for a minimum of 10 years (consumed during the spell).
• Environmental Toll: Over its 20-year preparation period, the surrounding environment experiences subtle depletion of plant vitality.
• High Casting Risk: The caster risks aging further if the spell fails.
Notes: The spell is designed as a significant choice, offering powerful rejuvenation but with steep costs and potential environmental consequences.
