Understone
Understone is an expansive town in Broken Timerands, where civilization is salvaged and disciplined to avoid perilous influences from the outer regions. The town consists of houses and buildings formed in Rakevrae -- which are towering and wide waves of spikes composed of Blackstone -- and networks of hanging fiery lights connected from Rakevry to Rakevry.
Furthermore, an innovative magic system of Broken Timerands is instituted specifically based on and pertaining to the life in the realm -- the Guild System, a categorizing system for organized education specifically for survival magic, instituted by the head of Understone. It gives potential and talented mages ambitions, growth, and diverse strength employed to help play a role in society as suppliers -- they are perceived as bold and dauntless warriors hunting for the sake of society, who mainly supply consumers.
The town is generally wearisome except on the Daybreak of Honor -- an annual event celebrated to commemorate the departure of Daheo, and gift people a blissful time to throw parties and feasts, carefree. This day is only where the Union Sign is frequently used -- it is a form of honor and regard, done as a greeting or friendly gesture to one or another. It is performed by lightly tapping a clenched fist's back outwards with one's own. Another gesture called Masken is performed as a formal greeting, esteem, and regard towards a special, superior, or revered person. It appears as the right hand overlapping across the left eye of the face.
Politically speaking, energy engineers are currently inventing an appliance that will radiate heat for plants to continue growing regardless of cold temperatures -- and to further agriculture in Shardra. Unfortunately, townsfolk aren't of modern technology as people generally don't or are unable to reach Understone. Meaning, that their knowledge is obsolete or ancient, especially in medicine and therapeutic.
