Dragonside
Dragonside is a fantastical land of surreal creatures -- dragons for instance. Its colorful, euphoric environment is only covered with birch trees with leaves of fall, and mystical, purple trees with a trunk similar to birch. Golden hills are often seen here as well. Well, not literally. It's striking in the color of yellow, giving an appearance of gold due to its amusing hypnotization. Other than that, are Dragonside's peculiarly-shaped mountain formations. The shape of these formations is flat-bottomed teardrops, without any round surfaces near their bottom. Now that Dragonside's environment has been summarized, moving on to its minor events or phenomena. Sunsets give spectacular views and set dramatic atmospheres -- lighting, temperature, you name it. The tropical climate lessens and becomes windier, and fogs form and only occur during sunrises and sunsets.
Living within the verdant forests and behind the skyscraping mountains, are the powerful, mythical, and gigantic dragons. The population of dragons is greater in Dragonside than that outside of it; therefore, it's logical that dragons are frequently spotted in the nature of Dragonside. Dragons rarely even depart and soar further away from Aneorphia's well-known regions, and those dragons who left were never seen again -- they've either departed from the world itself or successfully their place of comfort. Other animals who live in Dragonside deliberately hide themselves to avoid their strongest predator, the dragons. However, when in search of essentials, they would reveal themselves stealthily -- and during their hunt or search, the high probability of encountering a dragon is inevitable.
The dragons in Dragonside are worshipped and fed monthly with sacrifices by animal farmers to keep them at bay. It became a crucial culture of farmers thousands of years ago after the rampage of two starving dragons. Farmers hold important, honorable folklore that they've treasured till this day, regarding the tranquility of Aneorphia and the deal with the dragons.
Amid the rampage of two dragons from their deep slumber, farmers had a spark of a brilliant idea to appease the dragons. It was against their will, but for the sake of the peace between people and nature, they decided to offer their animals in exchange for balance. Dragons are intelligent, therefore understood the proposal. And to the farmers' favor, the dragons signed a slight nod of acceptance, then sat down to indicate they are going to await the feast. The people were in awe, equally glad and anxious, and rushed to prepare the meal they ought to offer.
The preparation was prolonged and the wait soon irked the dragons, but with determination, the meal was then ready to be served to the enormous, patient beasts. The dragons licked their mouth in satisfaction and delight, then gladly left afterward. It brought the people joy, and some are in tears for avoiding nature's catastrophe. However, people still fear and gossip about the horror they witnessed, and farmers are greatly affected by it. Thus, they grouped and henceforth swore a tradition among farmers of keeping dragons at bay by offering them sacrifices.
