The climate in the Imperium is generally quite mixed. Though most of the south enjoys a mostly temperate climate, there are, of course, many regional differences. Cool winters and mild summers except along the southwest near the Sea of Pianissimo where mild winters and hot summers are the norm. Along the central and eastern regions, the city of Debonaire has cool and moderate winters, though summers here are usually hot. Finally, winters are a lot colder and harsher in the north in which the Embouchure Moutains lay.

The Imperium of the Trumpets was founded in the year 1219.

War of French Horn Independence:
Fought against the rebellious province of French Horn under the leadership of Terell Guidry. RESULT: Ceasefire and signing of independence agreement

Great Glow Stick War:
RESULT: Very costly victory for the Imperium; gained territory at the cost of financial loss and violent internal turmoil

RESULT: Victory after destroying a large section of the Imperium with a Trombone superweapon, taking out enough Orchestra upper brass to disorganize the force
