The Syrian War - November 2020-January 2021
Syria Ahmad declared war on the island chain on November 2 following the defeat of her daughter Andromeda in the 2020 prime ministerial race, citing her refusal to sit down and allow a discriminatory state for proclivities to exist on her watch. After a bitter one-month war that pitted brother against brother and home spot against home spot, Queen Malia ordered Syria and her assailants to leave the island chain. The Proclivity Primacy, which Syria led with an iron fist, was designated a terrorist organization and membership became illegal.
(Island Town Hall ruled that while proclivity islanders may form a group if they wish, it cannot be that group.)
As a result, Proclivity Island seceded from the island chain and became its own country on February 1, 2021. Queen Malia issued a travel advisory, stating that she did not recommend Malia Islanders travel to Proclivity Island.

2014

Malia Island was annexed and founded in 2014. Queen Malia and King Augustus have ruled since then.
