Corrupted Forest

Just off the coast of Estana sits a series of islands that much like Cuthai is a druidic experiment gone wrong.

In a similar fashion the land was infused with magic to study its effects on plants. No one quite knows what went wrong but the island became infested with various toxic plants and all who visited without proper protection found themselves infected with one thing or another.

Thankfully it's far enough off the main shore that any spores or seeds don't survive crossing the ocean, and Estana has given proper warnings that the area is to be avoided by ships lest they become infected as well.

Most cities that know a ship has passed the area will quarantine it and the crew just in case they passed too close - no one wants to risk the contamination spreading. It's only a matter of time, however...
