The exact population of Aenia is unknown, but it is believed to be about 450 million people.
The people here speak mostly English, though some words are a mix of Latin and Swedish words, and magical incantations are typically Latin-based.
Aenia is mostly warm with pleasant, cool breezes blowing most of the day. The eastern half is more mountainous, and a little colder, but not much. Winter and fall are short, spring and summer long, and rain falls regularly for a short time every day.
The story takes place in the twentieth year of the 350th Age.
(Ages last 100 years.)
Heachaze, demaots, and piosh are types of grain grown in Aenia. The fruits grown are proli, ichehex, hohlrabi, and phosinip.
On Earth, King Bhorv and Queen Thobe found the Ianuasätt, the Doorway, in their land, and naturally, walked through it. They found themselves in a magical land with all sorts of fantastical creatures. Since their own earthly kingdom was plagued by debt and war and famine, they brought their people through the Ianuasätt and closed it to keep it hidden. Their people prospered in Aenia, as it came to be known. The Aenians became so mixed with magic that many learned to use it. However, when one king opened the Ianuasätt, they learned that magic could not harm non-magical beings. Of course, this meant that humans were the best protectors for Aenia, and so the bellagarae were formed.
