Bounty Hunter

Those hired to track down a specific target and bring back either the living target or proof of their death.

Bounty hunters must be graduates of the Tempest Combat Academy, but are most often the bronze level graduates as silver and gold levels have more options for jobs and do not wish to resort to what they consider lesser work.

Targets can be aggressive and will often defend themselves to prevent death or capture, which can cause harm to the hunter.

If the hunter is crossing country borders what they are doing is technically illegal. If they are caught and have any proof that they are operating from another country they are often subject to being imprisoned or, depending on the God, may be publicly executed to make an example of how seriously they take the laws about no interference between countries.

Many bounty hunters are paid well as it is technically illegal for one God to send agents into the territory of another, especially fugitives seeking refuge elsewhere. Because they are so well trained and need to be discreet those that survive long enough often need only work a few years before they can retire comfortably.
