Zettavolt Accompaniment Pack, used to power various energy weapons.

A small cylinder about the size of a chapstick. The ends have four symmetrical latch indents as well as a plate of metal that allows the flow of electricity when used. An energy gauge runs from one side to the other.

ZAPs are used as a power source for electric tools and weapons, and there are many types of ZAP. ZAPs also determine the weapon/tool form, so lots of tools and weapons can have multiple uses, though some items don't allow the use of some or all but one type of ZAP. Here's a non-comprehensive list of different ZAP types, as well as what they do/how they are used. Note that some ZAPs are triggered by or have alternate abilities that are triggered by things like a gun trigger, ability switch, ability button, or pump.

Battery - Used as only a power source for various items, the most commonly used ZAP form. Note that all ZAPs are used as a power source, but usually do more than just that.
Ammo Lv1 - Single-shot bullet ZAP of the lowest damage level. Shoot by pulling the gun trigger. If the item's ability switch is flipped, the reload action style is switched from semi-automatic to fully automatic.
