GEU Mask
Armor
Smooth black mask with matte finish to reduce shine (Think the surface of the black part of a Kindle Paperwhite) Two white round eyespots that glow when the mask is put on. It's an intimidating, eerie effect. The black part of the mask has a micro-solar power technology, and it's energy efficient.
Thin glowing lines that change color to match the health status of the wearer.
:Color code for lines:
- Blue: Healthy, normal
- Red: Severely injured, dying
- Green: Infected- Shoot on sight
- Lines not glowing: Dead
This particular mask has a small chip at the left temple accompanied by a scratch that follows the direction of the chip.
Each mask has an auto-repair function, and it also adjusts itself to fit your face. It's very durable, and it's bullet-resistant.
Metal, micro-solar tech cells, wires, silicone, and lots more. I assume. Think of all the materials used in an iPhone, to give you a rough idea.
250 grams? I think?

It has a semi-interactive AI built in- Not the vocal kind, just visual.
It highlights dangerous things or potential plague victims
Automatically corrects lighting. (Like night-vision or extremely bright light.)
Projects your current assignment and vitals in the corner, all in small blue script.
It also has a trauma box that tells you if you've had a concussion or if you've lost a lot of blood.
Enviroment stats (Tells u if theres a lack of oxygen/ toxic air.)
It has a GPS built inside that comes with a compass that tells you where you're supposed to be headed.
And of course, it also has a built-in radio that lets you communicate with your fellow officers from afar.
A tiny ventilation system to keep you cool. Also has a small reserve of pure oxygen that it only distributes in case of emergencies.
GPS stops working after a fall into the sinkhole, and the tracker is disabled as well. The mask is also described as... "Glitchy" and sometimes the lighting correction is faulty. (You'll be fine one second, and then the next everything darkens significantly and ur just left confused and near-blind or the opposite effect and you're blinded by super-bright light, lol.)
Dominik calls it a "piece of junk" semi-affectionately, and he's always tinkering with it, trying to fix the lighting issue.
