While the weapon was originally designed to interfere with the CSS of advanced Combat Drones like himself, Skralis makes use of an unintended quirk in its design that interferes with the cells of organic lifeforms by burning out essential compounds in the nucleus, which leads to spontaneous cell death.
In other words, this means that any organic lifeform assaulted by this weapon's Interference Waves for too long will boil and evaporate in horrible agony as their flesh becomes black and their bones become dust.
