Ser Ander's Letter
A blank sheet of paper, bearing the impression of what was written on the sheet above it. Found on the desk of Ser Julian Ander, in his rooms below the Hospice of St. Laupsenn.
When rubbed with charcoal, the following message became visible:
J.A., The man you are seeking will be at The Tipsy Trout on the evening of Mountday, wearing a dark cloak and bearing the symbol of The White Sanctuary . -Talon
"Talon" was followed by a symbol like two birds' feet inside a circle.
The message was followed by a larger symbol resembling a three-pronged crown superimposed on a crystal. Smoke recalled seeing this symbol once before, on a door in the tunnels below The Yawning Portal.

- Initially, Smoke believed Ser Ander had written the letter and sent it to J.A., and therefore was Talon. However, in Session ??: The Day Before Mountday, Renaer Neverember revealed that Ser Ander and "J.A." were one and the same.
- So instead, the likely scenario is that Talon entered Ser Ander's private quarters and wrote this message on whatever paper was handy, leaving it for Ander to find.
