Kankitsurui
Berry producing bush
Kankitsu's
At first bud, the berry starts out purple. This is due to the "chlorophyll" pigment in the seed. As it ripens, the color gradually changes to blue, then to a teal color.
The leaves on the bush are the usual purple.
The average size of a Kankitsurui Berry is equal to the size of one's thumb.
The bush itself doesn't normally grow to reach past your knees, but if it crossbreeds with a weed, it can reach the size of a tree.
When mixed/crushed, the berry releases a sweet smell
The Kankitsu berry is best known for it's citrus-like taste. Though it has the same texture as that of a grape, the flavor is much different.
The berry in it's whole is edible. The bush it grows on is as well, but not commonly used for consumption.
The seed is actually in the inner layer of the peel, at the very top. While they are consumable, children pass on the belief that consuming the seed of the Kankutsu berry will result in changing your skin color to the color of the berry. (This is false.)

The Kankutsurui Berry, or better known as Kankutsu's berry, is the most appealing feature of the bush. It is used to flavor teas, as a delicacy, and in many baked recipes.
The citrus can help most races with digestive issues, which is why it's used in tea, but the citric acid it contains is not ideal for other races.
Some races use the berry's teal color for dye.
