timeline History
Established year - When was Tamaya founded?

Tamaya was founded in 407 when lower class nobles took away the northern territory Achmetha was expanding into and made it their own territory. Tamaya was founded roughly 100 cycles after Achmetha, 200 cycles after Honiahaka and Setsuna, and 300 cycles after Misa.

Founding story - How was Tamaya founded?

Tamaya was initially populated by Achmethans who were coming from the south for more fertile land. As the government struggled to keep control of it's expanding reach, influential military figures decided it was time to make their move. In an act against the government, a group of lower class nobles put the people in the expanded region under their power in an act of rebellion. The Achmethan government had officially lost control, but they made the decision to let this expanded region go peacefully. They had the nobles sign a contract stating border locations and trade agreements. From then on, Tamaya rose under Tamaya Rohese, who the land is named after. Rohese led the nobles and soon became king of the people and was brutal to anyone who opposed. The Rohese line has still continued on today and the other noble bloodlines still make up the kings council.

Notes

Tamaya doesn't necessarily have that much military strength, but Tamaya knows how to use the military that it has. They know where to pick fight and where to keep the peace. They have a lot of control over public opinion and they have great relations with Achmetha which ensures food and other goods. Tamaya gives the impression of a well-put-together nation, but in reality it has a lot of civil unrest.
