Palomedes

Palomedes, Safir's brother and an adviser to the caliph, is a noble and trained warrior. While in Camelot on an important diplomatic mission, he saved the young King Arthur from a weapon thrown at him by one of his attackers during a raid. In honor of that deed, he has been knighted and serves as an envoy between their two peoples. He is devoted to his caliph and in awe of Arthur, but at times has difficulty reconciling his position between the two.
