Halisia wears the usual fine clothing of nobility, but likes to keep it simple with light jewelry and cloth so she can still move freely. She isn't too concerned about what's in fashion, often wearing clothes a few seasons behind the trends. She has a fondness for dark warm colors contrasted with whites and creams and it often appears in her fashion.
Round cheeks, a bit of a baby face. Sharp eyes, broad nose
Halisia's height, hair, and outdated fashion often make her stand out. Her resting face is often a glare.
Halisia is very blunt and, unlike many nobles, she has no patience for wordplay and subtlety. She is honest and is always very open about her thoughts and emotions. She is very independent, feeling uncomfortable socializing with people she doesn't know well. She prefers to work on her own and doesn't work well with others. Because of her introversion, she has trouble understanding certain social cues and jokes. She is an extremely dedicated person, and is absolutely hellbent on improving herself and learning new things. When she sets herself on a goal, it is hard for almost anything to deter her. She cares a lot about fairness and justice, believing that it is the most important thing to helping other people. Often she gets easily invested in situations and is often very emotional. She is very clever, and she strives for knowledge and will pursue it in almost in any way she can.
Halisia can be very aggressive towards people she dislikes, which makes many people keep a distance from her. She has even gotten herself into a few fights, which she has been looked down upon for. Her bluntness and brutal honesty can often be read as rude and she frequently hurts others' feelings. Whenever she suspects something is wrong, she will search for evidence to prove her suspicions correct, even if it means trespassing and sticking her nose in other people's business. Although she always tries to be fair and compassionate, oftentimes she can be misguided and her stubbornness gets in the way. She has a very strong idea of what the world should be and has trouble adapting and gets upset when those ideas are threatened. She tries to be compassionate, but often her bullheadedness gets in the way. She holds grudges for a long time.
Halisia wants to make the world a better place, specifically by becoming the Prophet Heir. As the Prophet Heir, she would be able to guide people with her divination and also have greater power to help others.
Halisia has a very strong sense of justice. If she believes that somebody is doing something wrong, she will make that apparent and work to stop them. Sometimes this causes her to view the world in black and white, grouping people who had done lesser bads with the ones who have done worse. She never breaks the codes she believes in and often feels like she has to be a force of change to improve things.
Halisia has a more sympathetic view of commoners than most nobles, but she still often stereotypes them as poor people who need to be protected by those with divine blood and can still be unfair towards them. She also immediately views anyone who competes with her as a threat, and often has trouble understanding they're a person too. She tries to be open to new ideas, but when a person presents ideas that conflict with her worldview her immediate gut reaction is to heavily distrust them.
Halisia spends most of her time researching and practicing her prophecy. She spends a lot of time reading, often about history and prophecy but also a wide array of other topics because of her desire for all kinds of knowledge. She enjoys debating and having intellectual conversations. She also likes a few sports, but has trouble finding people to play with her because she gets rough when competitive.
Halisia is an extremely talented prophet. She usually does not have much patience for most of the arts but does enjoy music and knows how to play a special kind of drum. She is also trilingual and still trying to learn more languages, wanting to be able to read any kind of text she can get her hands on.
Halisia darkly glares at people and balls up her fists when angered, as well as stomping around and yelling. To intimidate people she tries to seem bigger. As a resting stance she usually stands with her feet far apart and with her arms crossed, trying to take up space and seem tough. As a fidget she twists her hair, either when she's zoning out or nervous. She most commonly seems upset, and it is rare to see her happy. When she smiles, it is often very subtle. When she's embarrassed she will often turn her head and avoid contact, and her face blushes a bright red.
Halisia was well educated, taught by tutors from a young age. Halisia had many teachers in the arts of prophecy, and was even taught by the Grand Prophet Alyamora Taysali.
Halisia was born to the noblewoman, Khavilis Reaza, and a lower ranking court member, Khavilis Lanas. As a child, she always seemed to have trouble getting along with others and often got into fights. Her parents were worried about this behavior, and tried to find other outlets for her aggression and were able to mellow her out, but she has still always been a bit belligerent. From a young age, she showed a talent for prophecy and thought that she could use it to help others, so her parents started having her take lessons. Otherwise, she had a generally pampered but uneventful childhood.
Growing older, she started to become more involved in the court and its issues. The country seemed to be falling apart since the deaths of the Alyamora family and the line of royal prophets was beginning to die out. She believed that she could help by becoming the Prophet Heir, and started trying to take the position for herself. She was around fifteen at the time, being one of the youngest competitors for the throne. It was especially difficult since the Alyamoras were believed to be the strongest prophets to ever exist because of their divine blood and many thought they couldn't be replaced. It didn't help that the matriarch and only remaining member of the Alyamora family, Lady Taysali, was deep in mourning and didn't want anyone to take the position that was meant for her son and grandson. The competition often got heated, and rumors were started by competitors about the others to try and ruin their reputation in court. Halisia was a frequent target because of her aggression, and the way she reacted didn't help. As there was more pressure for there to be a new Prophet Heir, Taysali started to open up more. Halisia had a chance, but was threatened by other people vying for the throne, especially Vyur Kiram, who was well favored in the court. Taysali took an instant disliking to Kiram, and Halisia immediately seized the chance to outdo him. Taysali was at first a bit off put by Halisia's bluntness, but eventually became amused and charmed by it, and she was impressed by Halisia's prophetic talent. Taysali started to teach Halisia what she knew about prophecy and became a mentor figure to her. Halisia had lost her grandmother a few years ago and Taysali's grandson had been killed in the Alyamora fire, so they began to see each other as family that filled in the places of loved ones they'd lost. It took several years, but Taysali finally chose Halisia to be crowned within a few months. But first, Halisia had to go through the long process of proving herself as the Prophet Heir and learning about what the position entailed. However, Halisia was dedicated and pushed herself to be the best she could.
It was only a few days away from her coronation, when Alyamora Lleyan, Taysali's missing grandson, returned to the throne. Immediately, Halisia's coronation was cancelled and the title she had been working towards for years was stripped away from her. Halisia was furious and hurt, and instantly confronted Lleyan, suspecting that he was a fraud trying to steal the throne. She had guessed correctly, but she didn't have the evidence to prove it to others. Taysali was horrified by Halisia's harshness at her supposed grandson and denounced Halisia, breaking the bond they had. Halisia turned to Kiram, who was supposedly Lleyan's friend and had helped him return to the throne, asking why he would give up the throne so easily to a competitor and suggesting they make a truce to find out the truth about Lleyan. However, Kiram turned her down, frustrating Halisia even more. Her reputation was ruined for suspecting Lleyan so openly, so she decided to start investigating Lleyan in secret, hoping to find the evidence to reveal him as a fraud and reclaim her rightful title.
Halisia has a razakai, a species of small four-armed monkeys, named Baszian. Although she's only had him for a year, she is extremely fond of him, often bringing him outside with her and playing with him to avoid talking to other people. He is trained, and she often uses him to retrieve objects for her, sometimes letting him loose in people's houses so he can find evidence for her.
Khavilis Reaza and Lanas are Halisia's parents. Reaza, Halisia's mother, has been somewhat absent in Halisia's life, which isn't entirely uncommon for nobles who are raised more by servants than their parents. Reaza is often busy because she is a notable figure in the royal court and spending most of her time working in politics. Halisia still looks up to her mother despite their distance, and has developed many of her opinions based on her mother's views. However, she has been much closer to her father, Lanas, who is an extremely supportive figure in Halisia's life. She often credits much of her success of becoming Prophet Heir to the help of her father, who always convinced her to pursue her dream and helped her in any way he could.
Halisia was the youngest child of two, her brother Natayan preceding her by eleven years. Because of the age difference, she has never been able to connect with her brother. However, Natayan is fond of his little sister and often praises her and brings her gifts.
Since households in Reiyane Atale are quite big and usually include some extended family, Halisia also lives with her aunt and uncle, Erlen and Huyin. She is not especially close to either of them, simply because they do not get along very well. She used to live with her grandmother, Adala, who she was especially close to. Adala was always very proud of Halisia and always pushed her to become stronger. About four years ago, Adala died, and Halisia has missed her dearly.
Halisia also has a huge extended family outside of her household, the Khavilises being an especially large family. However, she is not very close to any of her extended family members.

Lady of the noble Khavilis House.
Halisia was about to be crowned as the new Prophet Heir after the last heir, Alyamora Lleyan, died as a child. Her duty was to become the next Grand Prophet, the head advisor to the royal court and leader of all other prophets. However, when Sarus entered the court pretending to be Alyamora Lleyan grown up and returning for his throne, he was widely believed and Halisia's coronation was called off.
Halisia follows Orazism, the popular religion in her country, Reiyane Atale. She worships Eialres, the god of fate, because she is a prophet. She is not very dedicated to the religion and has been exploring other beliefs.
Halisia believes that there is a lot of unfairness in Reiyane Atale and that the royal court isn't doing much to help. She is often a very vocal supporter of change and progress, saying that the royal court is flawed and needs to focus on the many issues, such as the high poverty rates and the outside forces trying to take control of the Reiyane Atalan government. She wanted to become the Prophet Heir because she thought it would help improve Reiyane Atale. However, she does not believe that the core power structure needs to change and supports the Astezas and the royal court continuing to rule.
Halisia is seen as an outcast for her unconventional attitude, and many people are threatened by her or dislike how aggressive she is, so she isn't the most popular. Although seen as strange, she is still admired for her dedication and many people thought she was the perfect candidate to be Prophet Heir before the supposed Alyamora Lleyan returned. Halisia does not care much about her reputation, thinking there are more important things.
Halisia was once close to Grand Prophet Alyamora Taysali, the matriarch of the Alyamora family, who was her mentor and a grandmother figure to her. Taysali was preparing Halisia to become her heir, but once Lleyan reclaimed the throne, Halisia's years of training went to waste and her bond with Taysali was cut off.
Halisia has a small but devoted group of close friends, who deeply admire her for her loyalty and diligence. One of these friends is Ilmai. The two knew each other in childhood but never got along, often breaking out into fights. However, as adults they were able to connect and become close friends, Ilmai's laid back nature relaxing the usually riled up Halisia.
Halisia and Kiram consider each other as rivals since they both competed for the title of Prophet Heir. Since they are both so driven and competitive, they have a strong distrust of the other. Halisia is especially suspicious of Kiram since he started associating with "Lleyan", believing that he could be in on the fact that Lleyan is a fraud.
Halisia does not know Sarus' true identity or name, only knowing him to go by the name of Alyamora Lleyan, but heavily suspects that he is a fraud. Although Halisia shares many similar beliefs with Sarus and in another situation could have been friends with him, she despises Sarus because he stole the title of Prophet Heir from her. She often tries to watch him and poke around his stuff to try to find evidence that he is a fraud. She acts openly hostile towards Sarus and ignores any of his attempts at friendliness.
