Grew up with Tavim Vaare they weren't exactly friends but they were friendly. He always wondered what happened to Tavi because he kinda just vanished one day. He has a pretty stable family life, he has a brother and a sister and two parents and began an apprenticeship with a local blacksmith at 18. By the time he meets Alga Lithe Wyspe at 21, he's moved on to a practice of his own. Marries Alga, they have a baby Ethla Argun , until Alga decides to leave the city he follows but is called to war 2 years before the events of book 4.
