Born to the city of Jaderose , where admittedly humans are treated better than in most other places, Caroline still saw the inequity as she learned about the Great War and all the history of the world. When the Rebellion came about Caroline joined them, and in turn met Zinnia . As the pair became fast friends something became quite apparent; Zinnia was running a little island for refugees, because being in Khelgard didn't stop assassination attempts from other places. The island, however, could have a controlled influx of people and could be a safe haven of sorts.

Caroline agreed to help run the place, and has been its unofficial leader ever since. She looks after everything, lets Zinnia know the status of things when she stops by, and generally does all the work so Zinnia doesn't need to visit as often and can just keep doing her part to help the rebellion.
