Norjac is an interesting case because, unlike other gladiators, he doesn't just fight for glory or fame. Sure, he considers both those things with each new fight, but they were never his driving motivations. He was bred for fighting and he did it because it seemed like it was the only thing he was allowed to do or be. He didn't want to let anyone down. Eventually, after meeting Sizi, he found that he really wanted to impress him and always do a good job to show him how well he can do. Every fight was in Sizi's honor, and every win was dedicated to him. Norjac found that maybe he did want glory after all, but only when it came from Sizi himself.
