Squeezing her hands together in thought or worry, narrowing her eyes when focusing, laughing in a short burst that devolves into soft giggles, squaring her shoulders and spreading out her stance to look more threatening.
Taking care of the people she cares about; finding out who she is and who she wants to be. Vengeance - though she doesn't like to admit it.
Bluejay is quick to judge people and almost obsessive in the way she latches on to people. She tends to repress things until she explodes, and she's often too prideful to apologize right away. Bluejay is also very much a grudge-holder. She remembers slights against her, even petty ones, and it colors her interactions with the people she decides she doesn't like; she has a hard time letting that resentment go, too, even if the person proves to be perfectly innocuous. On the flip side, she also tends to put the people who do give her good impressions up on a pedestal, and she has a hard time believing they can do any sort of wrong.
She's not quite sure why, just yet, but she has an aversion to doctors. It's nothing personal, but she gets extremely tetchy around them.
Climbing, sprinting, and weaseling her way out of tough situations. She can fire a gun and throw daggers with the best of them, and is good enough at playing dirty to hold her own against a few opponents. She can also play guitar somewhat well. She doesn't know who to attribute any of it to.
Playing music, playing drinking games, climbing tall structures to stargaze, listening to the stories that the people around her tell during colder nights at the warehouse fires.
Inquisitive and quiet at first glance, Jay is a bit of a human sponge who loves to soak up experiences and company. She's careful, analytical, good at listening, and does her best to hide her confusion at the world around her. Probably a melancholic on the four-temperament scale.
She was found about March 6th. It's not her birthdate or anything, just the only date anyone could attach to her.
She's well-educated enough to articulate herself plainly, and though she lack some of the social knowledge of the Sunderscape's communities, she's a natural when it comes to technical or literary subjects.
Bluejay (known both playfully and not-so-much as the Corvid) is the latest addition in the town of Skypoint. Found on the outskirts of the deadlands - the most lethal region of the Sunderscape - she was taken back to recuperate, only for it to be discovered that she remembered almost nothing, from either her near-death in the elements to her entire history beforehand. Although the central wasteland cities and towns tended to be fairly well connected, and although the radio man mentioned her description frequently in the broadcast in the hopes that someone would come forward in recognition, weeks passed without so much as a response. The newcomer was dubbed Bluejay when it was clear that she wasn't going to remember or rename herself, a nod to both her flighty and birdlike nature and to her fascination with the birds that flocked around Skypoint's central warehouse.
As Bluejay finds her balance in what is a completely unfamiliar world to her, she finds her purpose in helping with assorted tasks and problems around the city - finding missing packs or wandering children, working under the blacksmith's tutelage, and accompanying both the explorer and the radio man on excursions out into the wastelands.
Speculations are made from time to time about her origins - some made by Bluejay herself. Seemingly most plausible - and most upsetting, to those who know her - is that she was an outcast from the eastern regions beyond the deadlands - so far out it's barely considered a part of the Sunderscape, and believed to be inhabited by the most ruthless and calculating dregs of humanity.
Blue is an amnesiac, and can't say anything definite or episodic about her life experiences. Her memories come in reflexes, feelings, and intuition, without anywhere to trace them back to. She's a point of interest in the Sunderscape community because she was found dying in the middle of the harsher wildlands with no discernable origin or personal information or anything. Initially, she was actually intended to be an audience surrogate to help with worldbuilding, so she's working to put her identity back together now that she's in a position to investigate where she came from and why. Going along with that, she decides whether she likes people or not based on first impressions and gut feelings. (i.e. Doctors give her an instinctive sense of "aw, heck nah," so she's a bit distrustful of the local medic; Sacha saved her life and works to help her get back on her feet, so he's considered Good and Perfect in her eyes.)

Still working on that one... though she does show a bit of promise when it comes to being a sleuth or general handyman.
Olive green - it's a color her friends frequently seem to wear. Coming in close second is the dark blue of the sky when the sun has just set.
Jay really, really likes rice. She will kill for rice.
She doesn't have one quite yet, though the ragged copy of The Little Prince that Sacha gave her is quickly becoming her favorite thing.
Her own bare hands, probably. Anything else is used and quickly forgotten.
