Holly is very impatient, leading to hasty decisions and quick judgement. Her passionate nature leads to her fiery temper, so she gets angry quite a bit. Other than that, she can sometimes be stubborn and not open to others' opinions.

Holland gets claustrophobic when she's in a too-big crowd of people and despises small spaces.

Typically pretty healthy

Usually, Holly is pretty quiet around strangers, but once you get her talking, it's hard to shut her down. She is very passionate, especially about her friends and family, which shows during some of her scuffles with people picking on her loved ones. She is also very impatient, something that gets worse around her twin sister, Hope. Being friends with Leanna, she's become fairly adventurous, which gets her into loads of trouble in Aenia.

When she isn't studying for school, Holly practices riding. After journeying to Aenia and finding out what languages mix to form their words, she began learning some Latin and Swedish words.

Outside of bellagarae activities, Holly is an incredibly fast runner and a good horseback rider. She isn't a genius, but she is pretty smart and a mostly-A student. This is because she's good at memorizing-and-forgetting things, though she loves to truly memorize random history facts, that being her best subject. Inside of Aenia, she is skilled with her magic batons. Her riding talents pay off in Aenia as well, since she usually travels with her unicorn, Dimorae.

Because of her twin sister's arrogant, rude, despicable, et cetera boyfriend of two years, Holly holds a general prejudice against boys. The only boys who escaped that prejudice are her brothers and best friend, Seth.

Holly's main motivation is helping her friends and family, especially pre-Aenia. After she enters Aenia with Seth and Leanna, she wants to focus on protecting it and fulfilling her bellagarae duties. Her motivation from those duties mainly stems from her finding out she's half from Aenia. And she can't just leave them after finding out that they're her family.

When Holly is anxious, she bits her lip. She taps her foot when impatient and her ears turn pink when she is embarrassed or angry. She fidgets with her jewellery (or fingers in the absence of jewellery) all the time as well.

Holland was born to Isabelle and Heath Alanis. She has two older siblings (Heather and Henry), a twin sister (Hope), and a younger brother (Hayden). When she was four years old, her family and their friends' family moved from Orlando to a tiny little Texas town, which Holland saw/sees as a new adventure. They moved into the same house that her father had lived in before he and his wife moved to Florida.
