Hiryur Akoai
20 yrs old
Male
Little snake (Virion)
Stripper McGee (Phoenix)
Smells like lavander (Narion)
Villain
Lean, medium-sized, flat and flexible, with long, thin legs
Pearly scale-like marks on his thighs and hips, remnants from his time as a Naga, sneaky serpent-like expression, colored patches of skin around the eye corners, wears dark shades of blue lipstick, soft voice, black choker like tattoos on his neck, wrists and ankles
As a Naga, he has the lower body of a Lavander Corn Snake, with no pattern and white-ish belly. He has a few patches of delicate pearly scales on his shoulders, hands and eye corners. The scales were colored in the same light purple as his hair, and his hands held a purple tint as well.
Slightly oval face, with round eyes, a small nose and thin arched lips. His mouth is shaped like a "W", faintly imitating the mouth of a snake (he secretly enjoys doing the blep). His eyebrows and eyelashes are the same color as his hair, his eyes have slit pupils that expand depending on what kind of vision he is using (slit pupil for infrared vision, expanded oval pupils for normal color vision). He has delicate purple-ish scale like marks around his eyes, that look like eye shadow from afar.
He can unhinge his jaw, just like a snake, although he doesn't really feel comfortable doing it.
He also has fangs, but since he's not a venomous naga, they're pretty small; don't be fooled by that though, he may not have scary teeth or poison, yet his jaw is strong enough to crush bones
He is usually seen wearing al all black suit, with golden seams, tight pants and high heel shoes with a golden snake decoration on the heel. (high heel shoes are a must for him)
At home, he prefers wearing large T shirts (often borrowed from his boyfriend's closet, or intentionally one size larger), shorts or baggy pants - generally anything baggy and comfortable.
69.2 Kg (152.55 lbs)
5.8 ft (176 cm)
Soft lavender
Mid back length, fluffy, curly, with tips standing upwards and nose length bangs
none
Blue with yellow in the center, with black sclera
Former Naga, currently human
Pale rose
Confident, loud, sly, stubborn, proud and a bit of a narcissist, he often comes off as annoying and confusing. Even though most of the time he displays a faint malevolence combined with a child-like enthusiasm, his demeanor is very versatile, capable of switching from a playful mood to a dead serious attitude in no time. His actions often revolve around his mood swings, making him quite unpredictable and hard to deal with, especially if he's in a bad mood. In his bad days, when sick or very bored, he seems to flatten, losing his usual flamboyant demeanor and becoming very lazy. He also deeply hates being touched by strangers, especially on the chest area, a small remnant of behavior from when he was still a naga. He expresses ultimate repulsion towards his former life and body, deeming it as "ugly and weak". If he spends too much time in his original body, he ends up having to go through molting season, which makes him moodier than usual as he hates the process.
He enjoys living the good life and absolutely adores being spoiled by his lover with occasional gifts. Virion is the only person allowed to touch him on his chest or abdomen, and also the only one he truly opens up to. He considers the elf to be the only person capable of loving him truly for who he is, since Virion never turned his face away from him even when he was at his worst. When alone with the elf, he acts less flamboyant and flashy, adopting a more calm yet excited attitude, with an affectionate undertone, not afraid to openly express his true emotions.
Even though he denies it, he is a bit of a possessive boyfriend, as he gets jealous if he feels like someone is hitting on Virion; he becomes passive-agressive around anyone trying to get his master's attention. However, he is greatly concerned about his lover's well-being whenever they get in a dangerous situation, becoming very agitated if something actually happens to him; in the aftermath of the burning house incident, Hiryur threw away all his usual mannerisms after Virion had been injured by a burning pillar and rendered unconscious. He refused to leave his bedside, crying silently while waiting patiently for the elf to wake up.
He believes in fair fights, as he is so proud that he refuses to confront an enemy that is injured, tired or incapable of facing him, going so far as to helping the opponent to regain their strength. If the enemy is stronger than him though, he will most likely use side ways methods to win, or will just call it an unfair fight and book it out of there.
He permanently wears a sneaky smile on his face, claps his hands in a childish manner when happy, taps his cheek with his pointer finger when satisfied or playing with his pray, swallows often if cornered or nervous. In the presence of his master, he smiles softly and less creepy. He makes a low hissing sound if spooked or disgusted. He reacts slightly aggressive upon being touched, especially on his chest, usually throwing an insult while covering himself with his arms - this extends to the point where he calls anyone looking at him while shirtless a pervert.
He subconsciously still moves like a snake, especially when bending down, sneaking or walking - during molting season, he can often be seen rubbing his tail against rough surfaces to loosen the old skin. He spends many exhausting hours taking care of his scales, meticulously cleaning them, moisturizing, rubbing and polishing them (this is another one of the reasons why he prefers his human form more).
He speaks in a confident, seductive tone, with a playful vibe and uses words such as "darling" or "love" when talking to someone.
When upset, he no longer smiles and he no longer plays with his pray.
At rare times, he flicks his tongue in the air, like a snake, in order to pick up a smell better - his tongue is way more potent than his nose.
Hiryur is very sensitive about his eyes, as he only shows them to people he feels he can trust. He gets very nervous if someone manages to catch a glimpse of his eyes by mistake.
He usually hugs Virion whenever they meet.
Having fun
The second reason he likes to mess around with the main cast is because he is rather lonely in Virion's absence, so tormenting a group of kids is his way of entertaining himself.
He quickly judges people who wronged him in any way, especially if they humiliated him.
Selfish, obsessed with his own image
Control freak - he just has to be in control of the situation, else he panics
Has the unfortunate habit of sticking his nose where it doesn't belong, usually getting in trouble because of this
He can have quite the foul mouth when pissed off.
Liar - Despite disliking his naga origins, he likes to trick people into believing that he is venomous, even though he isn't. While he may not possess venom, his saliva does contain an anesthetic like agent.
Mood swings - only Virion is qualified enough to deal with this, especially during molting season
Aggressiveness or disrespect towards other people - this stemmed from Virion's attempt of grooming him into a loyal pet and while the elf had long abandoned that plan, Hiryur still grew up to dislike the vast majority of people, with the exception of Narion and the housemaid.
Absolutely horrified of large centipedes - he once saw a giant centipede burst out of a snake's stomach after it had been swallowed and the memory has stuck with him ever since. The idea of a centipede devouring his insides has always terrified him.
Second greatest fear is losing Virion, the only person in his life who has been kind to him from the very start.
He is also afraid of Rynn . While he easily bad mouths the daemon when alone or in a secure position, he doesn't dare face him directly, ever since he ended up with a broken jaw after their last encounter
Myopia - Many nagas have a predisposition to develop myopia, meaning their color eyesight is a little bad. The infrared detection works just fine for him in this case, the only downside being that he can no longer tell colors or read. This is the second major reason why he covers his eyes with his bangs, as he cannot be seen when he squints his eyes.
He owns a pair of glasses that he only wears at home.
He is somewhat able to speak two words at once, due to having a slightly forked tongue. One tip of the tongue articulates the major phrase, while the second tip whispers a different phrase, slightly faster. He rarely does this as he can become confusing and hard to understand - it's very useful when he talks to people he hates, managing to swear without being heard completely.
Another thing he can do is swallow objects or even small creatures, and then regurgitate them. He performed this trick twice, once with a billiard ball and a second time with a living gold fish - the fish was still alive after he spit it back out.
Being a naga, he has a very flexible body, with fast reflexes and enhanced agility
As part of the education received from Virion, he knows how to play piano and a bit of violin - he only plays when he's alone or for the elf
He enjoys playing with his plushies, in a role-playing way, although he is extremely private about this.
In his spare time, he likes to practice yoga to maintain his flexibility
He fully enjoys long hot baths, messing around with people and cuddling next to Virion
January 8th
His master taught him how to read, write and also helped him correct his spoken language. Before meeting him, he had little to no education, only being able to communicate verbally with people, but even then, his vocabulary was awfully limited.
He currently has a pretty stable high-school level of education, although there are some things he has yet to understand, such as certain words or concepts.
Hiryur cannot remember his early childhood, but based on his appearance, it is safe to assume he originated from somewhere in the northern forests on the eastern side of the continent. The first thing he is able to recall is living in a glass case in a traveling circus. Back in those times, he was a relatively small Naga, his entire body not measuring more than an adult human's arm in length. He was not allowed anywhere outside the glass case and his owner tried to keep him in a constant submissive state, as to not become violent or rebellious when he grew older.
During one of the circus' tours, one of the magical creatures accidentally escaped it's cage and caused havoc, breaking Kiryur's glass case in the process. The boy managed to escape, by crawling in the city's sewer system. During the time he lived there, a rumor was born, about a giant snake like monster living in the sewer, probably invented by people who happened to catch glimpses of him slithering around in the sewer system. He managed to survive there for 2 years, feeding on rats and anything else he could find, before being caught off guard by a cold snap while looking for food outside during one winter and almost freezing to death.
He was almost dead when his unconscious body was found by a man, who later turned out to be one of the king's informants. The man took Hiryur to his home and helped him recover from his frostbitten state, nursing him back to full health; he later offered to teach the young Naga how to read, write and how to speak properly. The boy was initially very shy and reserved towards the man, but with time, he began opening up to him, bonding with him during his reading lessons.
The man seemed to enjoy his presence very much, as he spoiled Hiryur with every chance he had. The boy began liking the stress-free life he had been given, and was developing a serious sense of loyalty towards his savior and master, going as far to be named right hand man, due to his unbreakable loyalty and trustworthiness. Once he was given this title, his master granted him enough magical power to turn him into a mage, also giving him a new form. Hiryur had grown to hate his snake body, therefore was so very happy about his transformation and his new magical powers.
Ever since he was 12, Hiryur had developed feelings for his savior, that led him to confessing his crush when he was 14; he was initially rejected, given his age and Virion's disinterest in a romantic relationship, but since the elf didn't want to completely crush his young heart, he advised the boy to wait a few more years, until he was of age, before trying to get romantically involved with anyone. Virion thought that in time, Hiryur would forget about this childish crush and eventually find an actual girl that suited him, but to his surprise, not only did the boy not forget about his feelings for the elf, but they also got stronger, to the point where Virion started questioning whether he himself was slowly falling for Hiryur. When the boy turned of age, he once again confessed his crush to the elf, and this time, his feelings were reciprocated, as the once cold Virion had developed a soft spot for the young naga. After Hiryur's 18th birthday, they officially became lovers.
Even though they became madly in love with each other, they never slept together, as Virion was a convinced asexual and Hiryur himself was a firm believer that true love isn't based on sex, but on feelings.
As he grew older, Hiryur strayed further from his previous life as a Naga, considering it ugly and repulsive, instead choosing to focus more on his new-found life as a mage. Even though he no longer possesses a Naga's body, he still has the eyes of one, which is why he covers the upper side of his face with his bangs, trying to look as human as possible without looking too suspicious. He rarely shows his eyes to anyone aside from his master, and even then, he is quite shy about it.
His first encounter with the main protagonists took place in town, when the kids accidentally bumped into him. Hiryur found them to be very entertaining, so after messing around with them for a little bit, he kidnapped Narion, to further torment them.
After the introduction of Rin, Hiryur no longer dared to directly torment the children, instead just making situations difficult for them. It was only after Virion informed him about the High Priest's orders that he actually started to follow the children with a purpose other than simply wanting to have fun at their expense
Hiryur gets drunk very easy, a few glasses of wine being enough to send him under the table. Virion discovered this when the boy fainted mid kissing session, after having just a few drinks
Naga
Nagas are a race of creatures with the head and torso of a humanoid, and the body of a large snake from the waist down. Their serpentine lower body, referred to as their tail, are typically covered in smooth, colorful scales featuring a wide plethora of unique patterns, which can range from simple rings and stripes, to elaborate and sometimes foreboding shapes. Beside their tail, nagas sports all sorts of other snake-like features, the most common of these being a pair of fangs in their mouths, as well as an elongated and sometimes prehensile tongue. Some nagas may also sport long ears, stilted reptilian pupils, a forked tongue, or patches of scales on certain parts of their upper body.
Wild nagas usually have a less humanoid and more reptilian upper body, covered with scales that can be any color. The reptilian features become less obvious the more human a naga looks, going as far as to disappear completely, except for the reptilian eyes and the colored patches of skin in the corners of the eyes, that resemble an eye shadow.
All Nagas have fangs, that differ from specie to specie - wild nagas have retractable teeth, while the more human ones don't, these ones having large canines instead.
At birth, Nagas can be about the size of a cat, if not smaller; adults are usually the same size as normal humans, but since they never stop growing, one can reach an incredible size should they manage to survive for centuries.
Just like snakes, nagas possess an amazingly stretchable esophagus and stomach, allowing them to swallow just about anything that can fit inside their mouths with ease. Unlike a human jaw, which is connected to the skull via a complex set of bones, joints and muscles, a naga's jaw is attached to the skull purely by a series of strong and elastic muscles. These powerful muscles allow nagas to open their mouths far wider than normal, and are flexible to the point that they can swallow large preys whole even if it is larger in diameter than the naga's mouth. The naga's ribcage lack a sternum and is entirely comprised of multiple movable ribs, allowing large preys to pass through the chest unimpeded. Theoretically, all nagas are able to swallow very large preys whole, however, the more humanoid nagas are used to eating nothing but relatively small preys, leading their jaw muscles to atrophy somewhat.
The reptilian wild nagas are territorial and aggressive towards intruders, especially those who possess venom. Nagas that do not possess venom are less aggressive to trespassers, but just as dangerous. Nagas are divided into multiple types, the level of aggression depending on how humanoid the creature is. Nagas with a completely human looking upper body are usually more docile than the rest, while those who resemble snakes the most, have shown to be the most violent.
Nagas also consider their chest and abdomen to be their most vulnerable spots and therefore refuse to allow anyone to touch them in those areas. A Naga allows to be touched only by people they fully trust and feel safe with.
Nagas are cold blooded, therefore being caught off guard by a cold snap can kill them if they can't go back to their home in time.
Many of them are also known to possess bad color mode eye sight, they can only see shapes, not details.
Most nagas don't make it past 60, since they are hunted by humans out of fear that they will grow into giants if they are left alive.
It is believed they can live for multiple hundreds of years, but will grow to massive sizes.
Some naga species, mostly the ones who borrows from venomous snakes like vipers, have special glands that secrete highly modified, toxic saliva, designed primarily to facilitate the immobilization and digestion of prey, and defense against threats. These glands are usually nested somewhere near their cheek bones, resulting in rounder, puffier cheeks, and are connected to specialized hollow fangs. Naga venom can be roughly classified as neurotoxic or hemotoxic, though the line between the two is very often blurred, with several naga species incorporating both neurotoxic and hemotoxic venom. Moreover, the venom's exact toxicity differs quite a lot from species to species, with some having similar, but ultimately more potent venom than others. Although it is most commonly injected after a bite, a few species of nagas are able to spit streams or sprays of venom at an incredible distance, largely dependent on their own size.
Feral nagas can eat creatures as big as them, but because of their humanoid torsos, doing so forces their body and weighs down their tail, which in turn makes them vulnerable to predators. Unless they are starved or desperate, they prefer eating anything half their size or smaller.
The human looking nagas tend to eat more cooked food than their wild counterpart, as they adopted a more civilized lifestyle.
Chains: he is capable creating chain like objects, resembling his tattooes, that can be used for bondage or sometimes as a whip, capable of stabbing if thrusted hard enough.
Mild telekinesis, semi infrared detection
