Paranormal ability: possesses another level of “perception” (can tell things about people upon meeting them that cannot be perceived with the natural senses, can read strong emotions, etc.)
has a "starry-eyed" look about her. hums absently when doing mundane tasks. usually quite cheerful. normally optimistic, sometimes obnoxiously or sarcastically so. is flirtatious to seem confident and in control, when in reality she's terrified of unfamiliar men and physical intimacy. prone to crying when someone raises their voice at her. right-handed. sways her hips when she walks. makes mental notes of people's strengths and weaknesses. always knows where the nearest exit is. will quickly become overwhelmed if someone touches her in a way that reminds her of her assault. mentally "checks out" of conversations sometimes by accident when dissociating (caused by trauma).
Wants to learn how to develop her ability and fully read minds; wants to find others like her and her sisters
Bad with money and spends frivolously. hates apologizing or admitting she's wrong. can have tunnel-vision when really focused on a particular task.
Looks down on people without abilities (mainly because she's inwardly scared of becoming like them)
fascinated by the occult/paranormal and often spends time researching or reading about them; enjoys dancing to slow, classical music alone in her room
Extrovert. sharp tongued and unafraid to speak her mind. moody. loves having a paranormal ability and uses it frequently. secretly is terrified of losing her ability and focuses her entire identity around it. stubborn. afraid of unfamiliar men. has PTSD from being assaulted by Mr. Watson.

born, raised and currently living in the London countryside. deeply affected by her mother's death and the subsequent gap it left in her late childhood and adolescence. didn't realize she had a paranormal ability and was jealous of her sisters' abilities until she began to comment on mundane things the people around her were thinking and feeling, and was then told it wasn't normal. at the age of 15, she was charmed and manipulated by the mysterious and violent Mr. Edward Watson (an unexplainable figure in her family's lives who would often drop in to visit her father) into a secluded room of the manor where he raped her and beat her when she tried to fight back - this incident left her bitter, depressed, and prone to anxiety attacks for months until she seemed to recover, regaining her cheerful demeanor and continuing on with nightmares and paranoia she hid from her family and friends (basically she "gets better" as a survival mechanism).
home tutoring; finds conventional education boring and tiresome, and will skip lessons whenever possible
lavender
loves birds and will often leave the windows open to hear them sing
tea and scones with strawberry jam
has no job; even if she left the house more often, she sees no reason to work when her father is well off
doesn't bother herself with politics
raised Christian, but puts more faith in her abilities than the religion. would rather trust something she can see results from and control than pray to an invisible God.
