Picks up people to talk to them, as most of the time they are shorter than her, and she doesn't want to bend down too far.

She feels almost trapped by an energetic, "cool" persona of herself. Wants to take a break and rest, but doesn't know how to say it.
She feels under immense pressure to take care of all of their friends, and even feels as though they only see her as a way to vent out, not to talk like friends. Has several breakdowns due to this stress.

Her father, a Swedish doctor, met her mother, an Ispagus leader. He was walking about late at night when he met her, and was smitten (as was she).
They got married 4 years later and had Birdie. The three lived in the Ispagus realm, however, when Birdie was 5, their father realized he was gone from Earth for too long, (only talked to others on the phone) and had to leave.

For years, Birdie moved from the Earth realm to the Ispagus realm.
She was the heir for her mother's leadership, but turned it down, saying it would be too stressful. She then decided to stay on Earth to pursue a career. She visits her mother every winter, summer, and spring break.

The Ispagus are a race of Alien people, 4.5 light years from Earth. They are decendents of the original humans, but were put on another planet by the Deity of Humans, who felt the number was growing too fast. The Deity then in turn had to lose control of them (there is an Ispagus Deity)
Ispagus people have very elongated, flat bodies. They are usually born about 3 feet tall, and can grow up to 20 feet tall.
The main fashion is styled like the 1920s, more androgynous and free, with loose, classy clothing, an inspiration for Birdie's own clothing style.
Birdie being only half Ispagus means she won't grow to full height, only around 12 feet at most. Her height it the equivilent of an average 15-year-old there.

Has the ability to make someone drunk or sober (They're unsatisfied with this). It means that it can be used to get information from someone through torture (constant hangover feeling) She doesn't realize its potential, however.

Birdie's Ispagus parentage gives her immense strength, agility, and stamina.
Has the ability to change color of skin, much like a chameleon, likes to blot different parts of her body different neon colors for parties.
The way it works is that Birdie has to put all her focus onto the part of the body she wants to dye, and think clearly of the color. This usually takes several minutes to do, especially if it is on the entire body.
The pigment comes from little pores beneath the skin that change color and burst at will.
If she feels extreme emotion, or puts her body under immense physical or mental pressure, some of the pigments will burst in a random color, leaving patches of random color on her body, usually where the strain is.

Usually wears loose, flow-y clothes. Most of her wardrobe consists of crop tops, baggy pants with ankle cuffs, and tank tops. She care very much about an outfit's color scheme, and will wait for a specific clothing item to dry, just for the aesthetic™
She also have a love for blazers, and own twelve.

An iridescent, translucent mass of violet and yellow.
There is a small, white mass, about where Birdie's head would be, and around it is a violet and yellow cloud of gas. The gas seems to have transparent, 2d shapes floating inside of it, fading in and out of sight.
It has no effect on non-living things, but if it passes through an animal, (just something that isn't a plant or fungi) the victim's body will be covered in a thin film, in the violet and yellow pattern that came in contact with them. It will also make them drunk, more and more depending on how long they were inside the gas.
