Abagail Puckett was born in Hickory Creek, Virginia (fictional), a suburb of Brookshore (also fictional). She is an only child. Her father was a realtor, and her mother was a housewife. Abagail was fascinated by the human brain from a young age. When she started junior high, she would take notes on her classmates and critically assess their behavior. She was a bit withdrawn growing up, doing more watching than interacting with people. Her best friend was a girl named Lucille Wilder. When Lucy began seeing their neighbor James, Abagail was immediately wary. She noticed potentially dangerous behaviors, and made it clear to Lucy that she disapproved of him. Her other close friend, Samuel Sanders, eventually ended up marrying her right out of high school. The two were happily married, and welcome twins into the world when they were both about 20. Not long after the twins were born, she and Sam got into a suspicious car accident, where the car blew up with them inside. Abagail thought her husband was dead, as the only part of him she could find was his hand. In reality, the two had landed far apart from each other, and Sam had fallen in some bushes where Abagail couldn't see him. Before Abagail could look further, James drove up and took her with him to the lab, where he fixed her to some mechanical parts. After this accident where she thought she had lost her husband, Abagail became resentful and mistrusting, making sure that, at least, her children would be safe. Because James had also gained her children (his wife, Lucille, was the one who was written to take them in case the couple died, and the state deemed both as dead), James had began to experiment on the twins just as he did for his own child.
She has completed secondary schooling (Harvard) and has a Masters in Psychology and a bachelors in Human Behavior.
