Vanessa was born in Apollonia. Her father died at a young age, and Vanessa and her mother moved to Fulgaria. There, her mother had a son named Renji and later Roy. Shortly after Roy was born, they moved back to Apollonia, taking Roy with them. Sometime later, Vanessa's mother dies of Tuberculosis, leaving Vanessa and Roy alone. Vanessa raised and took care of Roy and they lived as farmers. After Vanessa defended the village from bandits, she was approached by the Apollonian government and was hired . She eventually thwarted an attempt by King Seth of Pagonia instantiating a war with Apollonia. She was later killed by Elizabeth.
