Hope for the future of humanity and survival. He doesn't fight for himself, but for future generations, hoping that his victories would provide a better tomorrow.
Fiery temper, naïvely optimistic, prizes the lives of his friends over the lives of the majority.
Dislikes the ones who've lost all hope.
Tyfer enjoys speaking with the other Chasers, especially Nyir. He's an avid reader as well.

Tyfer has a kind, gentle presence. He balances out Nyir's stoicism and cynicism by being cheerful and flexible. He is loyal and quick to follow orders, but won't hesitate to confront Nyir if he feels she has made a poor decision. He is not easily angered, but once he is, he yells and raves until he is heard. He values above all else his friendships and family ties. His hope for the survival of humanity is unparalleled.

Tyfer was born in a family of ten. His father was a lowly Scavenger, and his mother made clothing. Their rations were low, and he remebers being hungry constantly. He decided to pursue one of the highest paying jobs --Chasing. He is talented and clever and soon rises in the ranks, becoming Nyir's right hand man.

Tyfer is a Chaser, and the second in command to General Nyir.
Tyfer sees the inadequencies in their system. Socialism with the elite receiving more than the common turns his stomach. Why should he, living with his sister and her son, deserve more food than a family of eight? He is considering a job in the gov once he is too old or injured to continue Chasing.
Tyfer believes in humanity overall. He believes that there is some greater purpose for humanity so they must fight to prove their worth.
