Sighs and mutters under her breath often. Squeezes her eyes shut and holds her head when frustrated, as thought she has a headache, even when she doesn't.

For 22 years, as a single mother in a career she didn't feel particularly strongly about, her motivation was her son. When Ryan's mental health became worse as a teenager, she was driven by a desire to help him, even to "fix" him, and was often frustrated that she couldn't. Without him, she has felt utterly lost.

Passive-aggressive, pessimistic, neurotic. Internally, she's prone to blaming herself for everything. Externally, she often expresses this by becoming testy with her friends and disproportionately upset over small things.

Deeply loving, loyal, observant. When one small thing is off in the life of someone she cares about, she will do everything in her power to fix it.

She has always been shy, and is often overwhelmed and even put-off by people who are especially cheery and extroverted (she grew to love Richie through his friendship with Ryan, though).

She taught herself how to knit and crochet; at this point, those hobbies (and her cat) are the only thing keeping her sane.
