Astra was born and raised in Starmouth to parents who worked as silver smiths; they mostly made jewelry with silver, though they were also known to make cutlery and the like as well for wealthy clients.

Solaris was always someone she admired from a far, for the dwarven woman was brash and loud and did what she wanted. And as it turns out, in love with Astra. Eventually those feelings were reciprocated and the two decided to open The Golden Hag so they could live happily together.

For a long while that worked an then The Collapse happened. Starmouth became a ghost town a few years later, those remaining mostly the people too stubborn to give up on what they had worked to build. Solaris and Astra were among them, not willing to up and move to another town when their inn had been so successful. So they're waiting it out, helping the community, and hoping for the best.
