Born and raised in Starmouth, Solaris fell in love with an elven woman named Astra when they were both young. It took time, but eventually Astra admitted her own feelings and the two decided to live out their dreams; buying a building and making their own tavern. The Golden Hag was born, and the two have lived and worked there since.

Despite Starmouth being more or less a ghost town since The Collapse the two haven't given up since the Hag is their dream. Since it doesn't see much business anymore the pair spend their spare time trying to help the city recover and attract people once again so it can once more be the place of their youth.
