Born the only child of the family that ruled The Onyx Court, Bryce knew from an early age that they would be special. After graduating from The Crystal River Academy Bryce returned home and continued their studies to lead.

They got the chance to put those skills to the test just a year later when their parents died under mysterious circumstances. One of the other Courts was blamed though, as it made sense that they might try to destabilize the Onyx Court by taking out their leaders and hoping Bryce might be too inexperienced to hold the position.

That was swiftly proven wrong as Bryce was swift to have their parents murderers brought to justice and made an example of. Young though they are the message was clear; no one messes with the Onyx Court.
