The Cuim Woods is not as uninhabited as people think, and there are many small unnamed settlements within its borders. Azan was born to one such town, though she was sent to Kamaria for education when she came of age and to get some experience with the world outside of the forest.

The religious city taught her much, but Azan was never satisfied with the surface level explanations given when she asked about certain topics. As such she spent her free time sneaking into the basements, archives, and anywhere else information was kept to find the answers she needed.

What exactly she found, however, is information she has not shared with anyone. Instead one day she left Kamaria and returned to her village, and eventually stepped up to lead it. Azan has lived a quiet life ever since, refusing to speak of her time in Kamaria and hoping to just exist until her time is up.
