Tande was born to a [[Group-28513]] village in the Cuim Woods. It took some time for the villagers to realize she lacked the ability to hear, but thankfully one of the former guild members living there knew sign language and were able to teach it to her and the others so she could still communicate.

Despite her disability Tande has become a wonderful hunter over the years. She feels the vibrations of the world around her more acutely and isn't distracted by the sounds of the world around her, which lets her focus more on whatever she is hunting. It also helps her detect intruders more easily and alert the village to the presence of any guild members or others that might threaten their way of life.
